Is the attack modifier for a Wizard Bladesinger still the Strength modifier? I am not immediately seeing anything that says otherwise, but information on the class is a bit spread out so I wanted to verify.
None of the Bladesinging class features change which ability score you use for weapon attacks. At 14th level they get to add their Intelligence modifier to the damage of their melee weapon attacks while bladesong is active, but that's about it.
In practice you'd use a finesse weapon, since you can't attack using two hands anyways and you need dexterity for AC.
another thing to note is booming blade and greenflame blade on dndbeyond both use the int mod for the attack I'm not certain if that is a bug or working as intended as it has never really mattered to my character (so far int and dex are tied)
Good to know but I don't necessarily think it would be terribly broken to let it key off the spellcasting ability except for non-hexblade bladelock shenanigans.
Thanks so much for the response! I was struggling to see how the character could be proficient in close quarters if I needed strong numbers in so many different attributes. Just getting into D&D, so your clarification is much appreciated!

That's a bug. The spells require you to make a weapon attack, not a spell attack.
