My dungeoneers love to pick up everything they see. Heads, tails, rocks, blocks, statues and shrubs. It would be nice if there was a way to just add individual items with some sort of weight and size function. That way they can see that carrying around 5 gnoll heads, is really heavy and not that efficient.
If they're picking up a ton of irrelevant items, ask them how they are actually carrying all of this stuff on the character while they adventure. Surely 5 gnoll heads would have to fit in a pretty big bag, that goes for rocks too, depending on size.
There is no option yet to create mundane items. The only way to *currently* do this is to create a magic item called: Bag of Gnoll Heads, or just Gnoll Head. You can choose a weight for each item and then give the items to the players and as long as you have encumbrance on then they will suffer the consequences whenever they reach that limit.
Thanks for the response. I have a number of ways to handle the issue today. I think I'll just print out some inventory sheets with weight etc and let them track stuff on paper.
The feedback, was meant more as a request for improvement. It would be a nice to have item.
