I'm not sure if the dev team is checking these, but if you are, we have a Clockwork Soul sorcerer in our campaign who's having trouble with some of the automation of his subclass on the site: Clockwork Soul gets an expanded spell list, but also allows characters to swap out a spell on that expanded list for another spell of certain schools (transmutation and abjuration) I believe, however it doesn't seem like this functionality is available on DnD Beyond (or if it is we haven't found it)? The situation that results is that he wants to swap out one spell (Protection from Good and Evil) for another from the given schools (Armor of Agathys) but he:
1) Cannot add Armor of Agathys to his spells known because it's on the Warlock list, and while that's allowed per the subclass description, it doesn't seem to register on his character sheet
2) Cannot remove Protection from Good and Evil and therefore
3) When we created a copy of Armor of Agathys as a homebrew spell and made it available to his character (as a workaround), he was unable to learn the spell because it would exceed the number of spells he's allowed to know at that sorcerer level.
I don't know if we're just missing something or if this is WIP but just figured this note should exist somewhere!
Unfortunately, this feature still isn't working - see this thread for the summary.
As for when a potential fix will come about? Hard to say - development progress on this site has regretfully been slow since the Wizards merger. You best bet is trying a homebrew solution (which I more than appreciate isn't ideal).

By slow they mean practically stopped outside of the usual stuff for new releases. There's stuff from the DMG that still hasn't been implemented.
And with OneDnD on the horizon, I've given up hoping that they'll update anything. If changes were coming soon they would say SOMETHING. Either they are never implementing it or they're planning to make a new system for dndbeyond that much more flexible then the current one but wont say anything about for some reason.

Sadly accurate; I went for the more diplomatic way of expressing it :P

Thank you both. We have a homebrew solution in place currently (Homebrew subclass copy of Clockwork Soul, manually change the spells offered), but you're right that it's not ideal and am sad to hear that!

Hello,

Thanks for all you do!
