Basically, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a way for races to become "hidden" when a character is being made.
For example, I have my own variants of humans and half-elfs and the four genasi. When I go to create a character the list is kind of muddied with 3 different kinds of humans and half-elves and 8 different genasi. I was wondering if a way could be made (or if there's already a way) to hide races. I know you can uncheck homebrew and whatnot, but what about races that have been purchased or in the basic rules. Is there a way to hide those?
They have confirmed more granular control for a DM in a campaign to allow/disallow certain things, as specific as individual. Not sure if this would translate to creating a character outside of a campaign, but it would be a workaround once this comes around.
