First time here to be part of beta, though I hope this will be helpful criticism. I'm currently using mobile view so some of my comments might be different from the PC view (I checked the PC view but I haven't read through). I play a lot of D&D with friends and a lot of them are being more inclined to character sheets from device than pencil and paper. Unfortunately for some of us, those apps are not available for Android. I hope when this finishes it will be of great help. Below are the suggestions based on problems we've encountered before (sorry for the long post).
Phase one (comments): I love how there are plenty of filters for spells and items. I also notice there are still few races /subraces included and classes only have 1 subclass each although I do believe these will be supplemented. I hope other resources such as PHB, EE, SCAG, and Volo's Guide to be included in the future since more and more are starting to consider these resources (I've had games with more Tabaxi's lately). I'm not sure of the inclusion of Unearthed Arcana but I hope they're included as well. Same goes with spells from these sources as well. In spellcaster classes, the spell slots are kinda unarranged, more like confusing coz the cell for # of spell slots have a # and there are only 8 written spell slots. Though I know it's just misalignment, it might pose confusion. For the items, idk if adventure specific items (as per AL modules) will be available as well, but it might be helpful. Also there are several parts in mobile view where the texts overlap.
Phase two (suggestions): I do hope there will be an HP counter, as well as currency and XP counter. Sometimes we buy potions and such and had to be reminded to deduct the gold, so hopefully buying items will be optimized. Wildshape options. I've played a moon druid and this was a big problem. I hope we have companion slots as well, maybe for familiars or other companions or pets. Class specific counters, like rage, blade song, bladesong, smitesmite, etc. Multiclassing optimization. Most char sheet apps are designed for just 1 class so I hope this will be considered. Spell lists per character. This will be most helpful if there are spell inventories for wizards since they copy spells. Leveling up optimization, meaning those that need to be added and such. Last one and that one thing not covered by other apps, Logsheets. Especially those for those who play AL. I'm not sure if there will be a dice counters but i do suggest it for those who don't like to math.
Phase 3 (suggestions): one of the biggest probs in dming for me was having to have so many tabs open for the events in the adventure, maps, and the stat blocks for the encounters. I haven't used DMing apps before but i do suggest having HP counters on monsters and initiative counters as well. Map viewer. Idk how to make this more useful but there is a certain difficulty in monitoring maps with hidden traps since you have to compare it with a bigger map. I guess something to help with monitoring DM rewards might help as well.
Idk if I missed out something but I believe some were already mentioned by others before. Hope this will be helpful, and again sorry for the long post!
For beta it is all SRD/Basic rules as the primary information for testing the foundation and organizing of searching. There is much better search engine coming in the future as promised by the devs. A good thing to read is the ddb staff quotes and updates thread pinned here in the beta testing and feedback area. Some good info in the news and announcements area as well including information that was in Dragon end of April and an interview down around May 4th has been transcribed there for ease of reading instead of listening though long interview. These give information of what has been added and what they have plans for in the future.
Everything that appears now in the beta will stay as free stuff in live due to it being based on free stuff out there. Now I'm not sure of the adding of some of the UA and Volo's other than those posts I mentioned in the last paragraph give us hints that they will look into or might already be looking into it. Once this goes live you can buy access to the PHB, MM, and DM information with the interesting way of getting parts or all of the book. There will be different sub levels to give more use and collaboration with groups to share things. The cool thing is we will have a lot to play with even in free version mode.
A lot of your suggestions have been stated in various places on the forums already, but there is a LOT to dig through to see what we all have been jabbering about too. =)
Hope you enjoy your time testing and checking things out here. SOON we will have the character sheets to test. I keep looking for the lock to come off of Phase 2 when I log in each day. ::chuckles::
Unfortunately for some of us, those apps are not available for Android.
I just want to clarify that there is no app yet, for anyone. The only thing available at this moment is the Compendium. Phase 2 will see the Character builder and character sheet. Phase 3 will have campaign management and homebrew. No word on when the app will be available.

The only content that will be available for beta will be SRD, Basic rules, or anything that is considered free from Wizards of the Coast. Anything else will be there at release.
For the first quote, I was pertaining to RPG helping apps. They're not officially under Wizards or not even strictly for D&D but there are a lot of those apps available for both Apple and Android. It just so happened that the better apps are only available for Apple. When this becomes available though, it will be the first official one for D&D. Thanks for the replies! I will be checking out the mega threads next.
