As an EU-Player the lack of the ability to change the measuring System to metric/ or even an automatic change by geografic location would be very much appreciated. If there is a way to change the settings please let me know, just haven't found it... :)
Whilst the complete implementation of multiple languages for the sourcebooks might be a bit much to ask for ( although it would also be appreciated, since some players would like to use the digital tools but aren't yet able to, due to language barrier), that is a change that should eventually happen over time. I am not aware of the specifics on how difficult it would be to implement the metric conversion into the app and digital sources, but it would make it a lot easier to play with both digital and physical sources (german copys are usually in metric). Since most people here are not accustomed to measuring in ft,lbs, etc; gaging distances, character creation and having a real understanding of the room in front of you often requires the conversion of measurements and redconning... This makes immersion much more difficult and combat is somewhat more tidious. It would just allow for a lot more intuitive use of D&D Beyond in physical sessions :)
The only reason I and my players understand US measurements, is D&D. The only way they'll change D&D is if the US changes, and probably then they'll resist still.
