Currently, for a limited use feature that resets on a short or long rest, you can set a fixed number of uses or modify it using an ability score modifier. It would be useful if-- as another option-- we could also modify the number of uses based on proficiency bonus.
Ability Score Modifier: Create an action for your feat, then make sure the "Activation Type" and "Reset Type" have been filled out. Click Save. The site will exit you back out, you will need to click on Edit for the Action you made and then Limited Use is now available. You can click on it to set Number of Uses + Stat Modifier Bonus.
Proficiency Bonus: Create an action for your feat, then make sure the "Activation Type" and "Reset Type" have been filled out. Click Save. The site will exit you back out, you will need to click on Edit for the Action you made and then Limited Use is now available. You can click on it to set Number of Uses to 2 at level 1. Click save and it will create a resetted page that looks identical. Create another Limited Use by setting the Number of Uses to 3 at level 5, then Number of Uses to 4 at level 9, then Number of uses to 5 at level 13, then finally Number of Uses to 6 at level 17. This follows the proficiency bonus. When you hit the next level, the new/higher level will override the current number of uses.
Thanks for walkthrough. Could be easier, but good to know there's a way to do it! I'll try that.
It probably could be easier, if they were just used for those, but with all of the different ways that the feats can be used, it's the easiest way (at least in my opinion lol) that it can encompass the most versatility.
But let me know if that doesn't work and I will try and figure something else out for you!
How do you set the amount of limited uses for a homebrew feat?

Could this method be used to grant spell slots as well?
