Sorry if this is part of another thread--I've searched around and couldn't find this question/topic addressed.
I notice Phase 3 has Homebrew. My question is this: what's the status of the Unearthed Arcana articles and additions to D&D? Will there be a way to distinguish between "official" (i.e. Players Handbook, DMG, Monster Manual) content and playtest/UA additions? I'm thinking of the Ranger update, for example: could a D&DBeyond subscriber access both the PH Ranger rules and the UA Ranger rules, and if so, would there be a way of distinguishing them for play in others' campaigns?
It seems simple enough to me, but that depends on the status of UA rules and how best to organize them in D&DBeyond.
Phase 3 isn't ready for testing yet, so now is a great time to make your ideas known!
Personally, for the campaign manager, as a DM, I would like to be able to say WHICH of the core rulebooks and expansions I am using, so that players in my campaign only see the correct rules for that campaign. :)

I'm a new DM and I'm pretty ignorant to how campaigns are made typically, and I'd love to see the tools that most regular DMs use, and maybe wrap my head around a more efficient or effective way of creating a campaign. Maybe we can sorta pool ideas on this thread that could get some attention, like Stormknight said.

That's kind of where I was headed with my (admittedly vague) query. Suppose I have a player who enjoys the Ranger so much he's up to 12th level by UA rules, but he's thinking of jumping into another DM's low-level game with a Ranger, but that DM is purely "old school" D&D (Player's Handbook only). How's he know the best way to create the character without being an extra burden in character creation to the new DM? The ability to select core rules, official rules, UA add-ons, and even homebrew/house rules for a campaign or particular DM to share with players would be invaluable. Experienced players would have an easier time of following specific rules (without having to "ignore" a bunch of rules right in front of their eyes), and new players won't be faced with a bunch of confusing, conflicting rules.
Suddenly I have a vision in my head of rules sets as "extensions" ala Google Chrome. Pick and choose the UA and homebrew rules you like, click on them, then they become part of your rule set for character creation, campaign design, etc.
Sound simple--wonder how difficult it is in the real world of coding?

That said, I like what I see thus far.
