I have a bag of holding in my game, I can carry up to 500lbs of gear in the bag and it would only weigh 15 lbs. I would love a feature where I can load the bag of holding with gear and see how much it weighs and not bother me with any encumbrance restrictions when things are in the bag.
The devs have said that adding containers to the character sheets is something they want to add. That way you can keep track of what's in back packs, sacks, bags of holding, etc...
I thought I had a clever work around for the meantime, (make bag of holding weigh - the weight of it's contents) but sadly you cannot make an item weigh negative.
New, harder, clever (<debatable) work around. Overwrite the weight of every item in the bag to 0.

Any update on this? I would love to be able to keep a separate list of items for my bag of holding.
It's on the roadmap for development is all the information I have currently.
