I often run encounters with several different types of monsters: undead, goblinoids, plants, etc, and homebrews. Because I can't filter or search to get all of these monsters on the same page, I open multiple tabs, each with one or two monsters, and switch between them.
A really useful feature would be the ability to create "Encounter Lists." A list would display similar to the search results for monsters or magic items, with collapsible info blocks. The user creates a list and gives it a name, then adds monsters and items (official and homebrew) to that list. This allows users to organize their content in a single place for easy access while running the game.
Bonus points if I can associate these lists with a campaign so that I know Campaign A is fighting plants and goblins, while Campaign B is fighting aberrations and giants!
I know that there are going to be some awesome features arriving in 2019 to help with encounters, but for now I use the campaign DM notes. You can use tooltips and formatting in these notes, so they can be a really cool way of keeping handy information.
As an example, in one of my campaigns I have the following section (clicking on the spoiler opens up the stats of various goblinoids for use in encounters):
Thank you for the reply. Using notes is a good tip that I hadn't thought of, I will most likely be using this! I hope that the new features include ways to integrate homebrews into our encounters / notes.
Is there a thread for encounter builder suggestions already? I have a few requests, but I feel they're common enough that they would already be requested if I could find the forum thread.

There will probably be a feedback thread once the encounter builder goes into alpha testing in a few months.

Best,

Tooltips for homebrew content are something that the devs would like to add, but I don't know what the current status is.
It's certainly possible to pull off a few tricks, so hopefully something in the New Year!

You can easily create regular hyperlinks to your homebrew though.
