Not sure if I'm at the righ place. We just started a new campaign and used D&D Beyond to create all characters. Me personally am playing D&D since version 1 and played every version since then in the 80ies.
We really love the D&D Beyond tool and we were discussing adding some content. BUT: As a DM, I'm lacking significant tools or features that prevent me from buying any content. I am talking about the possibility to generate whole encounters, including adding monster(s) and according treasure. There are free tools out there that allow a DM to exaclty do this (not sure about the legal point of view of these tools though). But why in Ashardalons name isn't this - in my opinion very obvious - feature available here?
As a DM, it would be really great to
Create an encounter as part of a campaign
add monsters using the great filter function and nicely done design including spells and such
generate according treasure where applicable
print out the whole encounter sheet.
In the current state, players would be able to generate and update their characters and I as a DM can see it. I can also search/filter monsters, spells and so on. But I will still rely on other tools to put together the encounter. And no, I'm to lazy to screenshot the monster texts and copy together all in a word file.
What I'm looking for:
If such a feature as metioned above is planned, please let me know. We really make our decision of buying any content on D&D Beyond dependent of this feature.
