I know it's possible for characters to create custom items in their equipment list, but I would love to be able to create custom homebrew items that are non-magical, so for example an exotic plant root which may have an effect, or an unusual weapon that they discover. Both of these would be non-magical, though the root may cause a status effect, or heal a certain damage type. Having it in my homebrew creations would allow my players to easily add it to their equipment list without each of them having to create a custom entry. Thanks in advance!!
It is on the list to get to eventually (not this year, certainly). For now the workaround is to use the magic item homebrew tools and just make sure they don’t require attunement.
I would like to see options that would allow for creations like Fighting Styles also the ability to make options like the Thergy Wizard. as it stands it doesn't look like you can put a pick list in a subclass or condition to open a class spell list after unlocking specific spells. Another thing would be to create a sub menu to add to magic Items. that would be a fun addition for items like a rod of Lordly Might. or anything that would have multiple magic item options. I also think that making a spell storing option would help. it could be used on an item like a ring of spell storing and on Homebrew items that will allow 1 a day castings of spells from an item that has charges as well. I focus on Artifact level items for players in a campaign. and like to use the benefits of the digital platform beyond being a glorified spreadsheet.
Thanks, it's good to know that it is on the list. I figured I might be able to use the magic items option, I just haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I have been very pleased with the options for creating NPCs and monsters. Thanks again!
