So WotC has some official pregen characters available on their character sheets page (http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/character_sheets) that I really like to use, but unfortunately they aren't updating them as new content comes out. I primarily use them for one shots and convention games, as they are generally easier to read for new players. To me this is because the style of the sheet is very much like a monster stat block style of sheet. It would be really cool if we had an option in DDB to export characters we create to this stat block style of sheet. Right now what I am doing when I want to make a character that has new material in it I will create the character in DDB and then create my own version of the sheet manually using Homebrewery from Natural Crit (http://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/), which is a little tedious. I'd be very interested to hearing what others think about this idea and what the DDB people think about implementing something like this.
I came to a similar conclusion. In general, I don't think NPCs should be created the same way as PCs, but I did compile a list of official monster abilities that closely mirror class features. Check the link in my signature.
Hey Folks - thread Necromancy is never a good thing (too many Zombies, not enough Paladins to smite them). Please only post if you are adding new information to the discussion.

I second this. Would be very useful for creating NPCs, for example.
Third!!!
Even though this thread is a year old...
These do look easy to read, as of now you can make character sheets as homebrewed monsters like this.
even though this thread is 2.5 years old, I Still want this very much.
