While WotC is planning to release Monsters of the Multiverse seemingly only as part of the gift pack, is there a plan that this publication (on its own) will be available within DDB? I already have the Sourcebook Bundle
DDB staff have not said. Unless things have changed, Monsters of the Universe is supposed to eventually be available for individual purchase. I would guess (and it is only a guess) that it will be purchasable here at that point. Keep in mind that there as far as we can tell, there is very little new in this book. As I understand it, it will contain monsters and player races from Volos and Mordenkainens, and the monsters will be provided in a new format. (E.g. spell casting monsters will have fewer spells but more spell attacks)
Below is the info "from the publisher" on the Amazon page for it. Nothing in what I read there indicates to me that UA races will be published here. Everything I've read about this "new" book indicates that in contains previously published player races and monsters that have been updated and reformatted.
Monsters of the Multiverse
Face the Denizens of the Cosmos
The ultimate Monster Manual companion, this book compiles and updates monsters and playable races from Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, and more.
Sparkling with the musings of the wizard Mordenkainen, in its pages you’ll find creatures and non-player characters that hail from every corner of the multiverse—whether they be friend or foe.
An Expanded Bestiary. Compiles and updates over 250 monsters and NPCs that originally appeared in Volo’s Guide to Monsters and Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, each represented by a newly-designed stat block and story text.
Updated Monster Stat Blocks. Creature stat blocks have been reorganized to be easier for Dungeon Masters to use, and some creatures have been updated—doing more damage and having greater resilience.
Additional Lore & Art. Book contains colorful art of monsters that were previously unillustrated, and expands upon monster lore—with details that add depth to your creatures, no matter where you choose to unleash them.
Over 30 Playable Races. Presents over 30 race options for player characters that don’t appear in the Player’s Handbook—all updated and gathered together in one place for the first time.
I hope D&D Beyond does not update the books I have paid for. I don’t believe in those changes. And I have been playing since the 80’s
They will most likely have to implement those changes, as it is not their call to make; Wizards have the final say. Beyond have done this in past on numerous occasions already where new versions of stuff in new books gets applied as errata to old books. The publishing of ERFTLW changed WGTE, FTOD changed Extra Life's Sapphire Dragon, a lot of monsters had minor alignment adjustments, etc.
You may not be aware. but your monsters have been slowly updating as new books come out anyway. Check any recent release notes for a book in DDB and it tells you how an update of prior monster in that book led to an update of the statblock in DDB.

As far as I know, I have not seen WotC announcing the MotM on its own - it's always part of the boxed set. That may be why even digital has not gotten anything for it.

They said it would get a standalone release when they announced it.
Additionally, there's no ability to preorder the summer release (DragonLance based on the fiction dates in July).
It was announced as part of the gift set coming out shortly with TCoE and XGtE, but that's just the initial release. They aaid it would eventually be released independent of the boxed set, but were not specific as to when. Likely they want to milk as many completists whales who want the latest D&D as soon possible for as long as they can, and once boxed set sales die down, will do an individual release.
Given other threads on DDBs policies on handling "updates" I imagine there may be some issues about D&D Beyond doing MMM out the gate because many DDB users would be getting big updates for free (for instance, when Van Richtens came out, most folks found their monster statblocks updated whether or not they owned VRGtR). I'm not sure if the other digital vendors have similar update policies, but I imagine there's some tension there as this would be the first "major release" that DDB and other digital partners of WotC are unable to participate in at the outset.
These grey areas are what I'd prefer the hobbies self-styled gaming press would focus their journalism on rather than silly inflamatory pieces trying to stitch the culture wars into every editorial move made by WotC. It's something actually affects players.

It may have the official versions of the player races that appeared in the recent UA though, which would have an impact on Character Builder
