Agreed, especially with the filter on range idea. I believe it may be good just to use a greater then filter in feet for range with an option for touch, and self.

For range, I'd like to see the possibility to filter for minimum as well as maximum range, with self < touch < 5'.
The V S M filter in the spells tab also has no functionality
It does have a functionality, but not all the functionality I would like. Selecting a component will require it in the filter, but I would also like a filter so I can find only those spells without, say, a verbal component. Perhaps click/tap once to make the filter purple, as it is now, to require that type of component, and click/tap again to make it red so matches are omitted from results, and click/tap a third time to set it back to the neutral white position.
Would like to be able to filter spells by casting range, as well as targets/area of effect.
I'd love the ability to filter by target. Specifically if the spell is party friendly (i.e. "Each enemy") or not (i.e. "Each creature") with regard to what the spell hits.

Great idea!

Just found the advanced filter identifying concentration from non- concentration spells. Great idea!
Would it be possible to establish "commonality filters"? Example: Spells common to Bards and Druids.
I went to see paladin level 5 spells and only 3 spells appeared on the filter
