My DM has invited me to their game and they own the players handbook so I should be able to make a Tempest Cleric however DND Beyond is only allowing me to select Life Domain in the character creator. Any idea how to fix this?
To follow up on Zell's question, if no one has turned on content sharing, there's the problem. If someone has turned on content sharing, try these steps, checking to see if the issue is resolved after each one. If it is, you don't have to go further:
-click on your username and avatar in the upper right of this page (or, on mobile, in the menu button that looks like stacked lines); choose Account then the marketplace tab; Look under account entitlements. if it says you need to sync, click the sync button
-ask whoever turned on content sharing in the campaign to turn content sharing off and then back on again
-check account entitlements and sync again if needed (first step above)
-ask DM and whoever turned on content syncing (if it is not the DM) to check their entitlements (first step above)
-ask them to try turning content sharing off and then back on again.
It probably won't take all those steps, but I was trying to be thorough in case the bug was being stubborn.
Am I to understand then, that the DM must buy a digital copy of 2014 PHB in order for the PCs to fully make use of the other Domains?
our group is new to DNDBeyond. the DM owns a hard copy but it sounds like a digital must also by purchased and shared in order to complete PCs.
Can some one clarify this for me please.
TIA

To use any content outside of the Free Rules in the character builder, you have to own that content on D&D Beyond, or have access to it through content sharing. It does not need to be the DM, but someone in the campaign has to own the relevant content.

Has anyone enabled content sharing?
Someone in the campaign needs a Master Tier Subscription and they have to turn content sharing on.
If content sharing is already on - have whoever has the subscription turn it off and on again. Doing so will refresh the sharing table.
