I'm just curious about this in light of this being my first time actually seriously using this site (I use this instead of the primitive piece of paper and pen ... Well, being legally blind, I really can't read print worth a dang and a half anyway, and so i'm wondering how exactly I keep track of my character; leveling, I'm unable to find, and then some of the attributes I seem not to be able to do anything with after creation (like background, faith, lifestyle, and so on). Not sure whether I'm missing something or not ... Most importantly though, is being able to keep track of levels. I've managed to figure out currency, and possibly spells when I get into it (my first experience with DnD had me playing a rogue). The attributes that don't have anything in them as of yet .. Wondering whether those are discovered afterwards? Thanks for any help. It's appreciated as always.
When first creating a character, you can set the level on the class tab. Once the character is created, you have two choices for adding levels:
1) You can edit the character (click on the character's name in the Character sheet and choose Edit); levels are set on the Class tab there, as with character creation OR
2) You can use the manage levels too (click on the character's name in the Character sheet and choose Manage Levels)
I'm not sure what you mean about not being about to anything with background, faith, lifestyle. If you mean you can't make changes, you can always go back to the Character editor and make changes there. Some of those pieces can be edited directly on the character sheet. For example, if you go to the Description section and expand it (click on the green +), and scroll down to Personal Characteristics and expand it (green + again), there are buttons to add or edit the items there.
NOTE: the character sheet will be undergoing a major overhaul sometime in the not too distant future, which will change the specifics of much of what I just shared. The hope is the revamp will be more intuitive and more helpful in play.
Thank you! Also, in light of the change, hopefully a bit more clearly laid out for those using screen readers. In order for us to figure things out, we have to just randomly activate things to see what they do. There is no clarity as to what element on a page something is; link, edit field, and so on. As an aside, I still need to determine why I didn't receive any emails regarding these posts; that's why this response took so long in ariving. I now need to catch up elsewhere as well.
I'm having the same issue with not being able to change attributes under the description section of the character builder. What I mean by that is specifically with the faith section what I had typed out I noticed when I printed out the sheet it cut off what I had typed in that box so I went back to change (edit) it. I ended up changing it to just a single word and when I exported it again to print it again I noticed that what I originally typed in there did not change. Also another issue was with the hit point manual option, this was something I noticed was an issue 4 years ago and still seems to be an issue. Will these glitches ever be fixed????

The first issue you describe is almost certainly a server caching issue. If you log out, back in, and wait a bit, then export, it should export correctly.
In terms of the manual hit point option, do you mean 1st level characters getting 12+CH HP if manual is selected? If so, it's easy enough to fix: after the character's class is chosen, toggle from manual to fixed and back to manual again.

The logging out and waiting a bit and logging back in did the trick. Thank you.
