Every time I run an encounter it ports over the players HP from their character sheets, but I am unable to change them when they take damage or be healed. Another group I play with had the same issue last Sunday during an encounter. Monster's HP is changeable but not players. I have tried making new encounter and removing the characters then re adding them to see if it would fix it but it still has the same problem.
Yes as a trade-off for the info coming to the builder, it now requires us (or the player) to adjust their character sheet. I have the players do it and monitor the display to ensure they do, so it's no too big a deal for me. I was more than willing to accept that change, for the benefits it offered. Not sure of others have noticed, but if you are simply looking at the builder, with no field selected, and your players roll initiative, it auto-populates that as well. All told, I am very pleased with the latest rendition of the encounter tool, as it is a lot of help in keeping combat simpler for me.

Is there any change planned? It impossible this way to run encounters, where the players do not have acces to a computer. I run a game at the table and players only use paper, so it's a mess to open all their sheets just to change the hp for me. Hell this encounter builder is in beta for more than 3 years now, when will you make this thing run?

There was another thread asking about this recently. It looks like the damage/healing to players needs to be done on their character sheets.

I really hope this feature is added. It would be incredibly useful to be able to do this within the builder.
