I'm working on importing my homebrew faun character for my wife's campaign into DnDBeyond so I'm working on building the homebrew from scratch. The trait I am inputing gets the friends cantrip once a day. However, friends isn't listed in the list at all. Am I looking in the wrong place or is this a bug?
Have you purchased the Player's Handbook? Friends is not a part of the OGL/SRD free content, so would require you to purchase either the PHB or the Spells package for the PHB.
I was shared access to all the resources, we have the legendary bundle. What threw me off is i see the entire list but when i search friends all i find is animal friendship.
Being shared the material allows you to look it up in the listings and compendium but doesn't let you use the material except for in the campaign character builder. I imagine it is the same with the homebrew section. Since it is not associated with your account, just shared to it, you don't have access to it in the homebrew builder.
Sharing makes it tricky. So many things have been added to the site since content sharing started. It really does need a rehaul of the subscription details page to clarify exactly where shared sources can be used.
