Unfortunately, a few people complained about public profiles being, you know, public, and that information was blocked from public view even if you set your character to public. Hopefully enough people will complain about it and it will be changed to make public character sheets... public.

I'm glad that stuff isn't listed outright for the public (anymore. Had to scramble to edit a character sheet before other curious players saw too much into it). Such info like Description (with all the background info and personal characteristic), Notes (like backstory) should probably be revealed in-game rather than anyone just clicking through and reading way too much into other character's stuff.
I get why someone might want those areas hidden. Why not add a third option?
Public: everything visible
Protected: same as current “public” setting
Private: same as current “private” setting
That seems like a reasonable compromise. To me, sharing a character is as much about the character of the character, as it is about their stats. Without the Description and Notes section, it feels like I'm presenting only half of a character.

I'm ok with hiding the backgrounds but what about ASPECT. The color of they eyes and thigs like those should be totally public. The extra inventory stuff too. I like the idea of a : public, protected, private session. ( Looks very developer oriented if you know what I mean :D )

Hi!
When I try to see a character sheet by using the shared link I don't have access to all the infos. What I mean is these submenu are missing:
Is this intended by design? Thank you for the answer :)

Ye... I mean. I see no reason to hide those informations at all.
But i think the people that has some things that they dont want public should have someplace for it.
Like Notes. You might have something your DM gave you that nobody knows about. An important trinket or a paper with leads or info.
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking.

The DM can still see all that info.
