Hmm, when I used it, it just showed the stat choices, which is how it is supposed to work. Then it gives you a list of spells to pick.
There have been some websites I've noticed have been glitchy a lot with Chrome after their latest updates, including DDB. In Opera browser they all work fine. You might try another browser to see if that helps clear it up.
This doesn't seem to be working: 'Whenever your Proficiency Bonus increases, you can add one additional spell to use with this feat." No new choices appear when proficiency increases

Did you create your character while in Opera?
Because I created mine in Chrome, and it still has the issue in Opera,
even tried re-adding the feat using both the manage character and manage feats options. it still shows 6 options, but the spells I select don't show up.
5 whole months of this being a reported issue and still no resolution. Dont worry guys indie company! Give them some time theyll get it right eventually!
Based on the previous post regarding 2014 Ritual Caster not working properly, I'm thinking this is just a limitation of the software. There are some things that Wizards just can't do with dndbeyond, and until they remake the software for themselves, it's just not going to work. There was a work-around in 2014 Ritual Caster that allowed it to work, but that work-around seems to be defeated with the 2024.
Edit: if you want to create your own Feat to replace Ritual Caster, here's how you can do it. It's probably not optimized, but it works.
1. Name the feat "Ritual Caster Fix" so you don't get it mixed up.
2. Copy the description from the Ritual Caster feat and paste it into the description of the "Ritual Caster Fix" feat
3. Save/Create the Feat so you can add options.
4. Add a Modifier. In the Modifier Type select "Bonus". Select "Choose Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma" in the Modifier Subtype dropdown. Under Fixed Value, enter "1". Then save the modifier.
5. Add a Spell. Under Spell Levels, select "1". Under "Spell Class", choose "Cleric", "Druid", and "Wizard". Find the checkbox that says "Only Ritual Spells" and check it. This will create a dropdown at the bottom of the page called Ritual Cast Type; select "Must Cast As Ritual" or "Can Cast As Ritual" from the dropdown. "Must" means the player will have to remember that they can use a spell slot, but it will look like they can't. "Can" will cause the player to see "At Will" instead of "Cast" next to the spell, which is also not true. This is probably a side effect of the "Is Infinite" checkbox you'll select in a moment. And here you have a choice:
a. You can select the "Is Infinite" check box. This will allow the player to select as many spells as they want, and you must instruct them to limit the number they select to their Proficiency Bonus.
b. You can click save now, and repeat step 5 to add as many spells as the player's proficiency bonus. To that end, you can also create as many copies of this feat as there are changes to the proficiency bonus (A Feat for levels 9 - 12 with 4 instances of Add a Spell, levels13 - 16 with 5 instances of Add a Spell, etc.). Or you alternatively, you could update the Feat each time a character levels up to a level where their proficiency bonus increases.
6. Add Action. Action Type will be "General". Name the action "Quick Ritual". Under Activation Type, choose "Special". You can copy the text from the Quick Ritual feature of the Ritual Caster feat and paste it into to the Snippet. Under Reset Type, select "Long Rest" from the dropdown. This will cause Limited Use to appear at the bottom of the page after you Save. Save the action. Now you will scroll to the bottom of the page and select Add Limited Use Data. Under Number of Uses, enter "1". Click Save.
Be sure the Player Character has Homebrew activated in their character sheet by going to Manage Character & Levels, clicking Home, and checking "Homebrew" under Sources.
I have created a lvl 4 cleric with the 2024 rules.
When choosing "Ritual Caster" as lvl 4 feat the dropdown looks weird like this
Choose an option:
Bard
Charisma
Cleric
Druid
Intelligence
Sorcerer
Warlock
Wisdom
Wizard
When I choose "Cleric" the spells show up but no stat increase.
When I choose "Wisdom" the stat increases but none of the 6 (!!! too many) spells that I can choose show up.
I believe it is supposed to be two checkboxes, one for the stat increase and one for the spell-list source.
Hope this helps to get it fixed!
Additionally the spells dont show up in the character sheet if you add them with the wisdom/charisma/intelligence option.
Still bugged. Same issues.
Ditto.
Checked today and the choices now only show "Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma" but spells still don't show up
Ritual Caster spells still aren't showing up in the spell list as of 9/29/24 (at least for me).
Spells still arn't showing up for me either. and when picking spells it has me pick 6 instead of 3 (which it should be)
Bugged here too. My player is having this exact issue and googling shows this is a commonly reported bug.
still bugged, very frustrating :/

Still bugged Sadly.:( Probably won't be fixed for awhile.

I have also had this issue, going to try DanimalManimal's workaround but hope it gets fixed properly ....
@danimalmanimal thank you for your detailed instructions
You're welcome! Were you able to use it? Or did I mess it up?
