One of the features you get by picking Path of the Totem Warrior is "Spirit Seeker" and it reads:
"Yours is a path that seeks attunement with the natural world, giving you a kinship with beasts. At 3rd level when you adopt this path, you gain the ability to cast the beast sense and speak with animals spells, but only as rituals, as described in the Spellcasting section."
My emphasis underlined. The spells are added, no problem. However, they aren't added as rituals and they clearly should be. Could be argued that it should be easy to remember, but I'm still hoping there's a relatively easy way to fix this so that they're displayed correctly in the spells section. It seems to be possible to give spells that restriction based on the Ritual Caster feats.
They seem to be set to "at will" instead of "as ritual." They also dont show up when using the ritual filter or as rituals under actions. In fact, these 2 spells seem to have had their ritual tags removed by this feature.
This is a level 3 Path of Totem Warrior Barbarian, with the feat Ritual Caster just to show the difference (seeing as they should be the same but aren't):
It clearly isn't, because they already tried to quickly fix it. It must be caused by how the character sheet is designed, so we have to wait for a bigger update.
What do you mean "buy" the spell separate? Like, buy the source book that it's in? We bought the source book bundle, so that shouldn't be an issue, should it? Or do you mean he has to choose it somewhere as an option? We're transferring to dnd beyond from a home game, I always assumed spirit seeker gave both spells at level 3.
I am running into this problem as well. Beast Sense does not show up at all in my character sheet after choosing my totem path. I'm only see "speak with animals"

That isn't the topic of this 2 year old thread, but it has already been asked and answered nonetheless.

Should be an easy fix though.
Could you check for me if this is now fixed, please?
It isn't fixed. Still showing up as "at will" etc. I even tried changing subclasses and changing back.
Can confirm that it's not fixed yet.

Bump - this is still happening. It's a minor UI glitch, but it seems like it should be a quick fix, too.

bump
A player recently made his character and we noticed it. Also, "beast sense" doesn't even show up for his character.

If you have the PHB for DDB, try turning content sharing off then on again.
That fixed it. Huh, odd but okay. Thanks.

Any update on resolving this issue? Over a year later and it still remains.

It is at least partially fixed, from what I can see. It does still say 'At Will' but the spell casting time is set correctly for 10m.
I tried turning it off and then back on again but no luck. Any other suggestions?
