Just like the title says, the entry for Bad News lists it with the explosive property and not with any reload property. That's obviously an incorrect entry, as I assume you wouldn't design a gun that broken.
Yeah, this is a mistake and has been pointed out before. The item correctly lists reload 1 instead of explosive, only the list under gunslinger is incorrect.
I've updated the description of [Tooltip Not Found] to remove the paragraph on explosive, as it looks like that was mistakenly copied from the hand mortar.

Will the listing of the weapon in the table under the Gunslinger subclass be fixed as well to replace the "explosive" property with the appropriate "reload 1" property? (In the v1.3 PDF, it's listed as "Two-handed, reload 1, misfire 3".)

I am pretty sure it was supposed to have that paragraph, unless you want to remove it from every other CR firearm that doesn't need it as well. I'm pretty sure the OP was talking about the table under gunslinger, that incorrectly says bad news has explosive instead of reload 1.
Pepperbox also has the explosive property. I am pretty sure the only weapon that should have it is the Hand Mortar (I could be wrong though). It has caused some issues in my games locally.
It has been a few months and the chart on gunslinger still says [Tooltip Not Found] has explosive but not reload. I take it the Monday review didn't go well?

[Tooltip Not Found] does not have the explosive property. It has reload 6 and misfire 2, same as the chart.

Sorry, I should have specified that it has the property on the weapon page, not the table.

It is supposed to (I think). Every CR firearm has the rules for all the CR firearm properties. Except bad news, because Stormknight removed it instead of fixing the gunslinger's weapon listing. For comparison: [Tooltip Not Found], blunderbuss, [Tooltip Not Found], pistol (exandria), musket (exandria)

I'm not that familiar with the gunslinger, so I've added a calendar event for Monday to review.

"A rapid shift in priorities"
That or I did something crazy to my to-do list.
Either way, I have updated that table now and added tooltips to the weapon properties while I was there. 😊
