Just a heads up, there's a funky interaction with the Prodigy feat while I was swapping my pre-existing Blood Hunter to the new 2.0 version:
I had Acrobatics as a Blood Hunter proficiency, which I then applied my Prodigy Expertise to.
When I removed my old BH levels and put on the new version, I still had the Expertise on for Acrobatics despite no longer having proficiency in it (as the Blood Hunter no longer gets that proficiency). If I didn't manually remove it from my feat I would have had the extra proficiency that i shouldn't have had. When I selected a new one and opened up that list again, the option for Acrobatics was removed.
This might happen with other classes as well if the class is removed, I didn't test it.
Update: Acrobatics is in the list, I'm just getting very weird behaviours?
It wasn't in the list, so I doubled up on some class/background things to get me open choices for my background. Picked Acrobatics there, but then when I went back to look at my class options again Acrobatics was back in the list.
Hello! Yes, Acrobatics is still available to the Blood Hunter class.
Changing classes can impact different options from other sections, like feats or backgrounds. I would advise caution when changing out a class, and also making sure to refresh the page after making a major change like the class, to avoid caching issues. :)
This weird behavior is probably just cause by the way the skill and expertise dropdowns work, and not caused by blood hunter specifically.
Expertise requires you to have proficiency to select it, but it does not automatically unselect it if you lose proficiency, in fact, expertise grants proficiency so it can't be selected for proficiency again.
You can recreate the bug using only the prodigy feat. First select a proficiency you don't have. Next get expertise in that skill. Then change the first skill proficiency. You will still have expertise but can't select that proficiency anymore.
It is a limitation of the coding used.
