Increase your STR, CON, or CHA score by 1. You can expend a use of your Breath Weapon trait to roar, forcing each creature of your choice that can hear or see you within 30 ft.to make a WIS saving throw (DC 13). On failure, a target becomes frightened of you for 1 minute, or until it takes any damage (repeating the saving throw, ending on success).

Instead of exhaling destructive energy, you can expend a use of your Breath Weapon trait to roar, forcing each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). A target automatically succeeds on the save if it can’t hear or see you. On a failed save, a target becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. If the frightened target takes any damage, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
I understand that the wording is going to be shorter, but it is completely different. The wording on the summary is wrong.
Summary: If I can see you I make a save OR If I can hear you I make a save. Success no fear, failure fear.
Full Description: can technically be read two ways.....
1) If I cant see you I automatically succeed OR If I can't hear you I automatically succeed.
2) If I can neither see nor hear you (requires both to be true), I automatically succeed.
The summary requires a save even if you can at least see OR at least hear them. In the the full description if you can't see or hear them there is no save. You automatically succeed. No save needed.
"each creature of your choice that can hear or see you within 30 ft.to make a WIS saving throw": If See = True or Hear = True, then make a saving throw
"A target automatically succeeds on the save if it can’t hear or see you": If See = False and Hear = False, then automatically pass saving throw.
Not making a saving throw = Automatically passing saving throw = No effect

The snippet is a shortened version of the effect. The wording will be different. The full description will always use official errata.

Both wordings are functionally the same:

Ok, I see. In the snippet, "or" should be "and".
