Hello, I've recently created a Dragonborn Paladin using dndbeyond character creator: https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Dr4kian/characters/32836231 And as far as i know my character should have 12 Max HP, not 14 (as it currently has). Paladin hit die is 1d10 and my CON MOD is +2, thus at level 1 I should have 12 hp. Did I make a mistake during character creation, is it a bug with character creator or am I missing something?
EDIT: It seems like setting a HP to "manual" at character creation probably doubled my CON MOD or took a barbarian Hit Die, as I have not even touched HP Management during character creation. Setting it back and forth from fixed and then to manual fixed the problem.
This is a known issue where the manual HP is set to 12 (as that's the max a character can get due to the Barb's hit die - before CON mods/feats). As you stated though, once you set it to the desired number, you should be set.
When using manual hp, the "rolled hp" field is for putting in the total of the dice you've rolled. So at first level for a paladin, it should be 10. The sheet will automatically add in any adjustments, such as the con bonus. It should be noted that this isn't really a good way for them to do this and you should probably make notes about what you rolled at each level in case you make a mistake while leveling up.
If you'd rather keep track of your hp completely manually, use the "override hp" field instead.
It's due to having HP set to Manual before you've chosen your class, which determines what your hit die (and starting HP) should be. In your HOME | Preferences, change Hit Point Type to Fixed, and then back to Manual, and it should be corrected.

The problem is still alive right now.. Just saying.. x.x

My Ranger has an +3 Con-Mod but the HP Calc goes with +9. ^^ Thats an bug. Even with a new char, starting with manual hp, the bug is still there.
