I've been searching around for a while now. I've seen some threads saying you can buy just one subclass but when I search in Beyond I'm unable to find it and it just gives me links to buy the players handbook. Am I looking at outdated information? Can I still but one subclass? If so, where do I find it?
When you're directed to a specific sourcebook, such as the Player's Handbook - scroll the page down and you will find all of the options available for individual purchase.
It's worth noting that any money you spend on individual purchases from a sourcebook, will be discounted off the cost of purchasing that sourcebook if you later choose to.
As I haven't been able to find any information on this, though it is probably out there somewhere. Will this discount also be given to bundles including the book, and how does the discount work with other discounts like sales? If a bundle is 30% off, is the percentage off the full price, and then the individual discounts are applied, or is it the other way around?
Example. I bought PHB, and might buy 3 subclasses from Tasha's. If the basic bundle (starter bundle? Not sure what it's called) is then 30% off, does it go down to 70$ (30%), and then to 34$ after subtracting PHB and 3 subclasses? Or is it 100$ - 30$ - 6$ to 64 and then 30% off that to 45$?
Tldr, are discounts on subclasses given to bundles too, and do I still get full discount off of sales if own part of the material?

Thank you for this! This is so frustrating that they’ve made this change, it was one of the best features of the marketplace. It’s so infuriating that, only needing one race from a book for a couple of bucks now means I’d have to buy the whole book that I don’t need. Completely gets rid of the advantage of having the books be digital!
Seriously that sucks. I paid for the physical books a year or so ago and just want to use the character builder. Not buying the digital version just so I can have Hexblade in the DnD Beyond character builder. Worth a couple bucks but not $30 for that one thing.
The executives at WotC and Hasbro have no concern for us. To them, we are just wallets they can withdraw money from. Let's make sure they know we don't approve of the crap they're doing.

Of course they changed this. Can't have you just purchasing the parts of the new book that made changes instead of gouging you full price for the a book that you aren't really interested in. Really sucks as I just wanted the lineages in Guide to Ravenloft, but I guess I am stuck with the Custom Lineage version I can mostly make fit.

I'm completely shocked that I can't just buy the subclasses any more - and not only that, but the books from which i HAVE purchased subclasses/backgrounds/etc I don't get a discount if I purchase the whole book any more. Meh. DnD Beyond is losing the features that made it great :(

Stuff like this... so disappointing

Or if you only liked one thing of the book but not the rest. I just want a few subclasses from the books because I liked them not the whole book.
Leaving money on the table, I guess they don't care.
I have about 3 things I'd buy but instead I buy nothing. Big fail removing such an awesome feature!
