In the downloaded versions of Rime of the Frostmaiden and the DnD Beyond website, on the Good Mead section of the book there is a table of travel times to reach other towns from Good Mead.
All of the other towns are listed in a measurement of hours, but the travel time from Good Mead to Easthaven is listed as "4½ miles". This should be "4½ hours" instead.
I know I have been able to add "Clothes, Cold Weather", "Crampons" and "Snowshoes" from within the Character Builder's Inventory pane before, but now it does not seem to be available. Aside from adding a Custom Item, is there a setting I am missing? I have shared access to the Icewind Dale adventure so all content should be available, should it not?

I am having this same issue except I don't even own the adventure (yet I can see the entire thing in DNDBeyond so I am assuming one of my players owns it and is sharing it with me?). Because I can see the adventure, there is no option for me to purchase these items standalone so my players can add them. Very confused. Help, please. TIA.

Actually, I don’t think they were ever standalone purchase options, as to my knowledge mundane equipment never has been. And being able to see the adventure through content sharing would not prevent you from seeing items you can purchase individually from it. If you purchase the adventure from here, you will have access to those items. Or, if the player with the book will be in the campaign, those items should be available to characters in that campaign, if content sharing is turned on. My guess is that the issue named by the poster you quote is that the characters in question were not in the campaign where that content was being shared.
I was looking to add these items for a character specifically in the Icewind Dale adventure, in a DDB Campaign with our actual DM as the campaign's DM role and full content sharing (including the adventure itself) enabled.

Thanks for clarifying! The items are available to me to add, so they should be for you too. Some steps to try:
-check if your entitlements need syncing (see link in my signature)
-if that doesn't do it, ask whoever turned content sharing on in your campaign to turn it off, to check their own entitlements, and then to turn content sharing back on again
-if still no go, try checking your entitlements again
I had done the entitlements thing yesterday, mine needed syncing. However, that was not the issue but I think I have this figured out.
I have 3 campaigns, all of which I have enabled content sharing for. In one of the campaigns, I can add the crampons, etc., to a PC's inventory, I cannot in the other 2. In the 1, one of the players owns the adventure and is sharing it with me. Thus, I can see it so it doesn't trigger the "you want to see me? buy me!" splash screen you normally would get when clicking on something from that book. But if I go to the marketplace, I can purchase things from it as normal. But you can't purchase mundane gear from adventure books without purchasing at least the vastly overpriced compendium copy? I don't want to pay $19.99 just so I can add these 3 items. And yes, I know I could create homebrew to replicate them but you can't even create mundane items via homebrew unless I am mistaken. There should be a way where they just make mundane items from books free, imo. Am I missing some trick or something? TIA.

I'm glad you sorted out what you are seeing! I agree that it is frustrating that you can't just buy mundane equipment piecemeal the way you can monsters, etc. Justing buying the compendium content ($19.99) likely won't do it either, as compendium-only content does not give you access to things you can add to the character sheet.
Here are some other options I can think of:
1) ask your player in campaign #1 to join your Icewind Dale campaign with a spare character, even if they aren't going to play in it
2) homebrew the items as common magical items that don't require attunement. Then they can be added through the usual "manage inventory" option. Mechanically, it won't make a difference on the sheets, although they will show up in a different color since the system thinks they are "magic"
3) have each player who wants them add them as custom items on their sheet. You would need to give them info about weight, etc. for them to do so. (Or you could go into their sheet and do this for them)
On page 124 is the start of the Cave of the Berserker quest. It says in the text that "Tall-Tails in Ten Towns" has a tail leading the characters to the cave. But no such tale exists in the table.
Every town in Chapter 1 has an overland travel section that shows how long it takes to travel to neighboring towns. Except the Overland Travel from Good Mead table shows "4½ miles" to Easthaven. This is the only one listed in miles instead of hours. https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/idrotf/good-mead#OverlandTravelfromGoodMead

Probably no one cares, but no, this has NOT been fixed.
