In some of the parts when I create a character sheet, it says that choices in the description are unavailable. This became most obvious recently when I tried to create a necromancer, which is said to be doable. But there is no choice, just to see if it was a level thing, I made a level 20 wizard and not only was there still only school choice, the level 18 and 20 spells i was supposed to be able to choose.... Did not exist, it had zero choices. Do i need to be a Premium member or something?
I have purchased all content awhile ago, and today the master tier subscription. I was hoping a new player could make his character sheet today, but after joining my campaign he (and my other players) still only have access to SRD, basic rules, and EEPC, free sources. Examples; the barbarian was only able to pick path of the berserker, while he wanted to be a path of the totem warrior. The rogue wanted to be an assassin, but was only able to access thief archetype.
Is there a time delay from DM subscription purchase to player content access?
There are two things that need to happen to share the content.
1. Make sure your campaign is set to allow sharing. This is done by clicking on "enable content sharing" at the top left of the campaign page.
2. Make sure the players are creating/bringing in characters using your campaign link. Just have them follow the link and create the character "inside" the campaign.
The biggest issue seen outside of making sure these steps are followed is that the web browser cache still has the previous pages (blocked/missing items) saved. Clearing your/their cache should fix that issue.
Just be sure to remind them to use the link to make new characters should any of them meet an untimely demise :-p. Outside the link, they won't (shouldn't?) have access to the content on the character builder; they'll have it only in the compendium/search.

D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, or Monster Manual, will need to be purchased from the Marketplace or accessed via another user sharing content with you via their Master Tier Subscription.
So if I were wanting to just create a necromancer, as opposed to purchasing everything, which guide would I need to buy for just that purpose?
You can buy the School of Necromancy from the PHB.
Of course, feats and backgrounds will still be limited to the free options.
Is there a way to prove I own the hard back copies and get them on here without buying again?
No, it is not possible.

Hope this helps you get things going.
Thanks! I believe it was just the 1st option. Enable content sharing that I was missing.
Human error is nice -.-
Thanks again, my players all cheered when I told them I got someone to help me fix it!
No problem! Let the adventures BEGIN!
