The Grung race entry in the app is missing the "Amphibious" trait. It is present in the One Grung Above compendium sourcebook, but not on the races tab.
I see there's still no sign of a light theme, which means the app is still mostly unusable for me as it hurts my eyes. Is there any plan to do that anytime soon, or will us whose eyes are not able to handle this dark theme for long periods be excluded from using the app?

There hasn't been an app update released between now and when you last enquired about a light theme, so there wouldn't be any change to the app. The last update was on the 12th of August.
The app is still in active development and it would make sense to render it feature complete before making UI changes such as a variable theme. A dark/light theme toggle is a much requested feature for the site as well as the app, so the demand is known

But that would also mean that people who can't use the app with the dark theme (like me) are practically also excluded from the whole alpha-beta feedback process as well. And from a developer point of view, if themes are to be added, it should be added as early as possible so each new feature element could be designed with theming in mind...

I am new here and I'm under the impression that I can put a code in from my book to get access to it on the site but I don't know how if possible maybe I'm just misunderstanding

Not sure what gave you that impression; there was a product that did unlock material here (Essential Kit), but it's not a generic thing that always happens.
Tl;dr: DnD Beyond is not owned by Wizards; you need to pay to unlock the digitalised version of the book - but you get a quality, searchable version with character sheet automatisation.

Bug report with new Race and Class Optional Features:
When using the racial attribute customization feature, the app will not display the correctly modified attribute rating.
I created a character and moved the two racial attribute bonuses (+2, +1) to different stats utilizing the new features. The numbers are accurate on desktop, but when viewing in the app there are no racial attribute bonuses applied at all. All the attributes are showing their base unmodified value.
(Since there hasn't been an update since the release of Tasha's, I am sure this is something that is being addressed, just thought I'd put this here in case)

Kobolds and orcs are broken in the app, gives a "Failed to load Kobold. The error has been logged. You may need to update Volo's Guide to Monsters." error message. There is no option to update, and I deleted and redownloaded Volo's to no avail.
im on a windows 10 pc and im on my campaign i created but it wont let me add my own characters in it it use to only let me do 2 now its not letting me at all theres no button that says to add a character like there use to be and i need to add like 4 characters for my brother to play along side and i need them for the story im doing but it wont let me add them and its really annoying me i already been having a bad time
I just bought the Sourcebook Bundle. Everything looks to be showing up in my account just fine on the PC. I installed the iPad app and started downloading content. At some point as I was poking around the app, I went back to the iPad app's Compendium tab and Tasha's Guide to Everything (one of my motivations for buying the bundle in the first place!) was simply gone. Not uninstalled, just not even in the list. I opened it up earlier, so it *was* there, and then it was completely gone as if the app doesn't realize the book even exists as an option on D&D Beyond. No, nuh uh. That is not okay. Reading on the PC is a pain.
Has anyone else had this sort of error? Would I benefit from contacting support staff here?

Do you see any items you haven't bought on the list? If you can only see items that are downloaded, you might have selected the "show only installed material" filter. (On android it's a bit buggy, when selected, the checkbox is simply just not there).
If you can see other items, your manifest cache might be corrupted. Try to fully stop / close the app (open the list of running apps and close it there, for example), wait a couple seconds, then start again.

It's the only one that doesn't show up. I can set it to show or not show ones I don't own (and ones I haven't downloaded) and it just isn't there in either the Compendium or the My Account section that shows everything you purchased and whether or not it's downloaded.
Multiple restarts didn't fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Then it showed up again, but I had to download everything again. Things were working well and I was hoping it was a one time thing. I was in the middle of searching for harpies in the Monster section (so not doing anything with Tasha's Cauldron), and the app crashed. When I restarted it, everything is normal...except Tasha's Cauldron of Everything is missing again. I'm pretty sure it was preceded by a crash the first time too. I don't know why the app on my iPad is periodically forgetting that D&D Beyond offers that book, but it obviously means I can't make use of the book on the app.
(Edit: To clarify, it really shows up nowhere--it's name won't even be in the complete list of sources when filtering content and such.)
Then noticing some bugs with the monk while using my phone's browser it won't give me a score based on my dexterity it only gives me an unarmed strike score based on my strength because I have strength as my dump stat It also doesn't show the improved movement speed as I've levelled
I have the latest version of the App and I am using a LG G5 with Android 6.0.1
I never got the dice rolling function working on the app. it works on the website no problem.
I tap and hold for example on a CHAR check then tap on Roll or Adv or Dis but nothing happens on the app. doesn't matter which check, save or attack I try to roll just nothing happens. no error. nothing.
Hello, I'm running the D&D Player App on an iPad Pro (3rd gen) with iOS v14.4 (18D52). I can see my own characters' dice rolls shared in the game log, but I also DM several games for other players. Is there a way for me to see their dice rolls/game log in the D&D Player App?
Nevermind
Did you start Fighter? Because when you multiclass, you have to fulfill all prerequisites.

I don't think android 6 is supported anymore, unfortunately.

Android App dice rolling for spell damage does not scale with spell level. Damage remains at basic level for all spell regardless of spell level.
