Can we please be able to add mundane equipment that can interact and be sorted with standard gear? An item category with proper sub categories would be what I’m hoping can be achieved. A vehicle that will appear on your movement page, a new tool set that would also appear in character creation as an option for proficiency. We can tweak and customize weapons and armor once they on the sheet, but have to make them in the common magic items category currently, even if they are mundane.
Another work around I do in customizing is to create multiple copies of the same weapon in inventory (zero the weight by customizing on the copies) and mark all as being wielded. This way I can have, for a barbarian
weapon
weapon with rage
weapon with GWM (Great Weapon Master penalty/bonus applied)
weapon with rage+GWM
all appear as maneuvers with the proper to hit and normal damage. If there was an easier way of duplicating the same weapon on the action sheet and modifying it there it would avoid these shadow inventory items.
And speaking of proper damage, crits rolled do get an extra die of weapon damage. But half-orcs and barbarians are entitled to more (my wife’s half orc barbarian already does x5 (4 extra) dice), and aren’t getting it. I’ve had to create a custom effect (non weapon) that won’t have the correct to hit bonus but at least has proper crit damage as a work around so they can still roll damage into the campaign log. Attend to this as well if you could. Thanks.
Mundane homebrew would be cool. I believe it's planned. They also don't currently support "temporary" effects (like Rage) but that's also planned.
A common workaround for temporary effects is to homebrew an Artifact wondrous item that applies the appropriate modifiers when equipped. This works well for Rage, since you could have the following modifiers:
