Is it possible to link an Adeventure book to a campaign? I'm going to start a WBTWL campaign soon, and I'd like to be able to find the book for it fast, as well as have the campaign tracker and maps and such available on the Campaign page for my players to view when we're not in-game. As it is (or at least as far as I can find), the only way to do that is by ripping the images from the Compendium and re-uploading them to Imgur or something like that.
I am subscribed and I have Content Sharing turned on, but compendium viewing of Witchlight content is turned off for obvious reasons.
Does a feature like that exist at all? If not, consider this a feature request, I suppose.

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.
This feature does not exist. However, you can also paste links to the book / relevant sections / image URLs in the Public Notes section of the campaign!
Yeah, that's one workaround. But it does make the Campaign page a bit messy.

I was wondering the same thing. Is there any plans for this to be a feature, pulling a campaign from a purchased book into "My Campaigns"? Having this would be more efficient than manually placing everything in there.
I’ve just recently joined and have started a campaign, and have been looking for this same feature; has there been any movement on this?
As far as I can tell, there is not

Wow! It worked so well with Frozen Sick I just thought that's how it worked. Really sucks to have bought an adventure and not be able to use it the same way. That was highly misleading.

Can you say more about what worked so well with Frozen Sick that doesn’t with other adventures? I do see that the DM notes have a link to the adventure, but that’s easy enough to do add to the notes in a campaign page one starts from scratch. Am I missing something else?
Never mind, I stand corrected. After reading your response and giving it a try I am excited! No more joining a new campaign with the same characters. Linking a new book to an old campaign did not occur to me for some reason. I guess I didn't know you could do that. Thanks for the info!

You are welcome. I used to keep extensive notes in the DM notes section for one of my campaigns, so I'm pretty familiar with what can be done there. As an aside, I eventually found that unwieldy and shifted to using Dropbox Paper to keep my notes, but I use extensive links to things both in DDB and elsewhere.
Go into the first page of the book. Go to a heading where you see the link symbol. Right click and copy. Go to your campaigns page and post it in the notes.

Crud, I just did the same. I was expecting it to appear like the others. I have the paper book of the adventure already so I am not sure but I might try and get a refund and use a different system like roll20 or foundry.
Thank you. However the fact that there isn't a "Start campaign" button on any purchased material is criminal. Roll20 had this feature years ago.
What is it you want to a "Start a campaign" button to do? Depending on what you are wanting, it may be possible to do it here in a way you aren't expecting. For example, you can add the maps from purchased books to the Maps tool quite quickly.
I want it to open a campaign page where the book is open and is linked/interactive with the maps tool, and provide the DM with a dashboard of the players etc. All of the maps should be populated with the characters as described in the book. And in the maps tool, during encounters, damage should be applied to the targeted monsters / characters. This would add an incredible amount of value and make it much more accessible to new players/DMs. If I’m paying a monthly subscription, I expect the tool to be at feature parity of similar tools. Hasbro is a huge company and has the resources to make this amazing; if they choose.

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB

I’m so completely lost. How exactly do you link a url for a book purchased to a campaign? I need a step by step walkthrough, I’m a super new dm

I bought the digital version of the campaign book specifically for this feature. The marketing on this is very deceiving.

+1 for this.
