I understand that the process for Character Creation is following the flow outlined in the books and that might limit what you can do with those pages, but it really could be so much better regarding skills. As it stands, you have to go back and forth, from page to page to make sure you are not picking a skill on one page that you get from another. Worse, you have to go to the 'View Character' to see all the skills you selected.
Instead of having to pick the skills at the time you select a class or background, it could collect them together and provide a final page (before Equipment) where it could show all the options from each source on top then the entire set of skills below, marking the ones you choose when you choose them, removing them from one list when you pick them from another.
The current process is especially difficult when re-creating a character created offline, where you know the character has skills X, Y and Z but you can't recall which ones came from where.

This was something 4E's DDI handled gracefully, so hopefully they can resolve this.
