I’ve been a yearly dm tier sub for years and i am mad at wotc and cancelled, and i want a refund for my recent year sub that started 2 months ago. I feel scammed and lied to, after they started changing the OGL and decided the word race is offensive.
I feel the same way and want some help. It's not even obvious, based on the layout of this site, how to unsubscribe. What a scam.
Update: I found out how to unsubscribe and got off this "live service" before it dies like every other mobile title stuffed with micro-transactions I've been suckered into playing over the years. I'll just play with pen and paper again, like I always have.
Guild Wars 2 will refund every purchase you've ever made but they'll also permanently remove your account. It's possible for a company to do this, they just have to choose to do this.

I can't see current Wizards making that choice. I unsubscribed and bought my first Pathfinder book the same day.

no you cannot have a refund. Read your terms of agreement again.
6. You may choose not to renew your Subscription Service at any time. For Subscriptions Services, you may choose to not renew by selecting the “Do Not Renew” option under your subscription settings in the relevant Service or by contacting customer support via e-mail. Your cancellation is effective at the end of the current subscription term.

;'D No, GW2 actually somewhat likes its players
@Eqfied: Like all struggling corporations, they laid off a bunch of their customer support people last quarter to make number go up.
I bought it thinking that I'd have better access to the books and be able to create different classes but its nothing like that. I do dnd to take brake from the real world how others do in video games and I don't make that much money to do stuff like this often. So if the Devs make it so we're able to get a refund hell even half would be great i know that all of you have to make money and this is somewhat of a plea. thanks for the good website to play games like this.

This is bad advice. This is the nuclear if-all-else-fails option. This is known as a chargeback. It can cause issues for D&D Beyond, who, by the way, aren't at fault here. This will cause D&D beyond to need to protect itself by false and future chargebacks by banning your account. By ban I mean full terminate - your account becomes inaccessible, you can never buy anything from them in future using that payment method and anything you have already bought is permanently lost.
Always, always, use other options first.

Have you put in a support ticket? That's about all you can do. There is a lot of backlog though...
Apparently it's at least a 10,000 ticket backlog, and they recently cut support staff. Best of luck though.

I understand the site layout changed after the server crash. But I don't know.
Looking for a refund of all my books and I will cancel my subscription. Saddened by the obvious money grab that was this proposed change.
Ha. Yeah right.
Maybe a purchase made within the last 30 days or a pro rate for remaining subscription time.

If D&D wants me back, they can earn me.

I am probably canceling soon too. I will probably give them “6 weeks”.
