Currently I'm DM'ing two campaigns, and playing in a third, and my wife is playing in all three. With the third, the DM sharing content has a larger set of sources for access than I have personally, or my players can access. However, I've noticed that because I have access to those expanded Sources as a player in the third campaign, the Game Rules section has added all the additional information. What it lacks however, is an indicator of where those elements come from.
As an example, Warlock gets the Otherworldly Patron "The Genie" from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. The Game Rules list The Genie as a patron now, but because there's no reference to where it comes from, a player in multiple campaigns can't know that for the first two campaigns where Tasha's isn't included, they can't play a Genie Pact warlock, but they can in the third.
I'm not asking for a "Campaign Specific Game Rules" (though that would be kinda awesome) and I'm really happy that the Game Rules does update when additional Sources are added. But it would be really useful to have the reference for where additional elements beyond the Basic Rules come from.
For Example:
The Genie(Tasha's Cauldron of Everything)
You have made a pact with one of the rarest kinds of genie, a noble genie. Such entities rule vast fiefs on the Elemental Planes and have great influence over lesser genies and elemental creatures. Noble genies are varied in their motivations, but most are arrogant and wield power that rivals that of lesser deities. They delight in turning the table on mortals, who often bind genies into servitude, and readily enter into pacts that expand their reach...
