My players have requested to try out the new Maps feature in DNDbeyond, and its fun... but still clunky with how many browser tabs I need to have open to do anything. However, for each NPC or monster, I am required to make a unique homebrew monster to be able to populate it as a token in the Map. I have had to make quite a few homebrew creations to enable to drop a token onto the map and allow my characters to see an NPC they are talking to on a map. This is very frustrating as I now have dozens of homebrew creations I cannot sort through. I run several shorter campaigns for multiple groups, so I will have to use brackets like [Campaign Name] to differentiate them all if I have multiple campaigns using this VTT. I don't know why assigning homebrew creations to specific campaigns isn't already a feature.
If something like this is already there and I'm just blind -- please let me know. If there isn't, can a folder system or campaign tag be implemented so it is easier to navigate the Homebrew Creations page?
I'd love folders, but I'd also love to be able to control which of my Homebrew collection turns up in what campaign. If I'm running Eberron with homebrew dragonmarks and backgrounds, that shouldn't show up in my Phandalin campaign group's options.
So folders with the ability to designate which one is for a given campaign (and be able to put items in multiple folders if appropriate).
