So, as much as I rarely use Roll20 (I use it when my players are in a cave, because it's much easier to show a visual of a cavern maze, rather than trying to find unique ways to keep describing the rocks in the cave)... There is one thing that I do like about Roll20 - is the ability to select different character sheets (based on the game you're playing). Roll20 does support an incredible amount of games (which is awesome) - I would love to see something like that used here, specifically for Lord of the Rings since it's now on here on D&D Beyond. Where, off that first screen where you can select Homebrew and all those options - have a check mark that is either "D&D Character Sheet" or "Lord of the Rings" character sheet, and one option must be selected (and even default to D&D character sheet). But that way an actual correct D&D Lord of the Rings character sheet can be used with the proper skills (Arcane removed for Old History, the checks that changed such as Medicine using Intelligence) would be a fantastic thing.
Just throwing it out there and hope someone hears it.
I seriously doubt it. They cannot get their own product's sheet correct for their new "big launches". They have 0 motivation to modify their own sheet for a third party (which they have no additional revenue to acquire beyond the purchase of a single $30 e-book), much less create an entire new one for such one-off content.
I think that they will need to do something like this if they want to continue with the third party content business model (and remain competitive with the other tools out there.)
They definitely needs to iron out some shortcomings with it so far. The current character sheets don't work properly with the added armors from the Free League materials either, from what I've seen.
In spite of the Warden having light AND medium armor prof, both lights, and the singular medium armor added by the book don't recognize my characters stated proficiency with them, and gives disadvantage on checks when equipped with any of them, forcing you to use the D&D entries anyways.
This would be so nice. It would even potentially clean up the 2024 versus 2014 stuff, since 2014 content would simply not show up if you selected 2024 "game/sheet mode" in the builder and vice versa.
Currently, I've got LotR stuff populating into the Random character generator (which I sometimes use to make quickie NPCs), rendering the random generator useless for my regular games, since I purchased the LotR content. :\ A Sheet Mode or Game Version selection in the very beginning of creation would clear that up.
Though, it would also probably require some sort of overhaul of their underlying database. I'm not going to hold my breath...
They also refuse to fix the skill list for LotR. LotR uses a different skill list from 5e and the character builder is useless until the skill list is fixed. As far as I am concerned they stole our money when they sold us LotR for D&DB.

Incredibly frustrating that I am unable to use the LOTR character sheets on DND Beyond, it feels like this supplement was just hacked into the system without any real testing.

That would be an amazing function, due to DND Beyond expanding with other modules.
I think so too, and would truly hope it's something they consider doing.

Third-party content is just gravy. Profit with little to no work.

DnD Beyond staff, if you're patrolling these forums, PLEASE come through with a fix for the Lord of the Rings content.

They stole our money, it's that simple.
