Add a filter that filters out the monsters that the DM does not own.
I had just made an entire encounter to prepare for my live game today.
30 mins prior to game, i begin filling in the tokens for the encounter on the VTT.
I search for the tokens of the monsters I put in the encounter builder.
"This token is not in your content library"
had to, on the fly, find enemies that were equivalent because the Encounter Builder allows me to add monsters to an encounter that I don't know that I don't own.
So please, add a filter that allows only creatures you actually own to show up in the encounter builder.
It's in the VTT, so it shouldn't be hard to place in the builder.
They're not intending to advance the Encounter Builder because of the VTT having the functionality in the EncounterCreator. And you can filter by owned sources in the VTT Encounter Creator.
That said I think its a bad decision, because they should make the Encounter Builder capable of making templates to apply to maps.
But can you actually run combat on the VTT? How ive been handling it is i have the encounter builder tab open and the VTT tab open and flip between them, and use that to keep track of turn order. Is there a turn order on the VTT that I simply am blind to? I saw they added the ability to 'add this token to the encounter' but i haven't actually looked at it yet.

Yes, quite happily. The execution part of the combat is better in the VTT. The planning is clunky.
