I am teaching new kids to play the game using 2014 rules only.
I have walked them through the character creation and only enabled 2014 core and 2014 expanded rules, hoping this would clear everything up regarding their class abilities, spells and equipment.
But still, DnDBeyond manages to not completely separate the two versions (AS THEY PROMISED!) , as the weapons in their inventory show 2024 mastery keywords.
It is hard enough already for these newbie kids to understand their character sheets without me telling them to ignore SOME keywords in the properties section, yet tell them OTHERS are still important (disregard “vex” but regard “finesse” and “light”)
Is there a fix? Please have the mastery keywords under a mastery section at the very least!!
Screenshot was taken from my phone, but the desktop is even worse: it shows these keywords all the time.
