So, having just played a session, in which I, as the GM, had two character sheets open for NPCs, plus the old encounter runner. macOS 15.7.4, Safari 18.6:
At some point my machine started lagging (not bad network -- the machine was slow enough to notice) in zoom. I don't know if it was the new die roller, but that's something that has never happened before. (It also wasn't swapping.) I turned off my camera to bring the processing load down,, which worked.
Communication of rolls is very erratic. Some don't get to the log, some get to the log but not the person rolling them. I had one player who didn't see their initiative roll, but it was in the initiative order. Two others rolled, had it go to the log (IIRC), but not the order.
Rolls with advantage/disadvantage weren't reliable, at least in the encounter runner. (I don't remember whether I had a problem rolling it from character sheets)
Not showing the roll, just the result, makes it hard to tell whether advantage/disadvantage has been applied.
I eventually turned off graphical rolling on the character sheets, and things worked a lot better for me. I couldn't turn it off in the encounter runner.
I never even wanted to see other people's dice bouncing around to begin with, and the synchronization issues it's creating are a real problem, not to mention the issues with the new graphical roller not always completing rolls.
The new dice roller is fine for me with one exception. My only problem is the dice are taking up to much of the screen, I often find myself waiting for the dice to disappear to see what my actual result was and to see whatever the dice was blocking (the dice usually cover something). It would be nice if we had a way to adjust the size or have the ability to stop the dice from showing up on screen but still getting the math.
The new dice roller has completely bugged my use on iPad chrome browser. Pages just keep reloading or failing completely. Needs fixing or I end my subscription
From what I've been able to deduce, a recent change of cookie package lead to a lot of this memory strain. I think it's part of the age verification stuff based on the setup. The new dice & backlog update didn't help, but aren't the primary issue here.

How do I turn off the horrible sounds of the digital dice rolls as DM in the VTT. We want 3D dice rolls but not the poor quality sounds that aren't even dice sounds.
Just finished running a game, all in person with one player over discord with a conference room speaker. I use Owlbear for VTT, my players use DDB for character sheets and dice rolling, and I use encounters builder (not Maps VTT) just for easy access to custom monster lists and rolling large numbers of dice.
I feel this was a fix no one asked for, except maybe the size for accessibility reasons, which is great but should have been an optional toggle and not forced. My virtual player absolutely hates the new roller. The dice are too big, can no longer click to make them go away, can't right click to roll with advantage/disadvantage anymore, they stay on the screen too long, lag out my other players chromebooks and ipads, rolls weren't making it into the log reliably, and the sounds are distracting. I'm going to have to spend extra time next session walking everyone through the dice settings to turn down the graphics, turn off the sound, etc. More than likely we'll be turning off the 3d dice rollers, which is a total bummer.
As a player I do like seeing my own dice rolls, but I dislike seeing other players rolls muck up my screen when I'm trying to plan my next actions, especially since I can't click to make them go away anymore. I do not see any way to turn off seeing other players rolls while still seeing the results in the log, seems like they made it all or nothing. Am I missing something?

While Playing with my Group I noticed two things.
1) One Player Couldn't use the Dice Roller on his Sheet or on Maps VTT
2) When testing on the site and the Character Sheets the Dice rolls do not work but roll on visibly on MAPS
3) Maps was Lagging when Rolling/Dice Results

My entire party opened up google dice roller after about 2 minutes of this insanity...
