First off, sorry I couldn't find a mega thread to put this in so I'm just going to leave it here for now. I also would like to say all of this feedback comes exclusively from using the mobile version, however I still feel it's very viable as i imagine a large majority will be using mobile at full release.
In general everything in the character sectoons needs something to break it up, maybe different font styles or colors, and undoubly a table of contents. As things currently are there is alot to scroll through making it hard to find what you where looking for in the first place
Something needs to be done about the lvling table the classes, it's very long on nonspell casters and unbearably long for spellcasters. Either it needs to be moved to another page and linked to in the classes or needs to be formatted in a way where it doesn't take up so much space.
Oh also the bard one is just actually actually wrong, it says you don't get a lvl1 spell slot til 3rd lvl
Edit: the bard is only broken on the mobile, and the table problem is also only a mobile problem, I still think it could be moved to another page but all of these problems allot more reasonable on the desk top version.
Yeah, my original post on lining up things and how long they were in smaller browser windows have fallen to page 2 already. What is messing up the where the number of spells being listed on smaller windows is the subheader has it's own line followed by 1st, 2nd, etc. but the number of spells for each starts lining up on the right with the subheader rather than at 1st so all the spell lists are skewed in smaller screens. I know another post was made on suggesting how to handle spacing as it works for a smaller screen. I am sure they are working on this issue and since my posts were on Good Friday, I really did not expect any comments on the issues until later this week from a dev saying they did anything with it. =)
On a good note the cool thing they did with the class and race lists with the pictures, they go opaque as soon as they need to slide under the text for a smaller screen. So there's that cool factor in the mix while they work to find the best way to really make the new character stuff work on mobile. We only got this first iteration middle of last week and they have already fixed a few things for us, so something should come of the small screen scrolling forever issues along with alignment of tables and how they look on small screens.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
PbP - Beregost Blues - Portia Starflower, Half Elf, Cleric, Life Domain PbP - Tome of Annhilation - Vistani Mocanu, Human, Bard
This is horrible on mobile at the moment. A menu style for mobile devices would perhaps be a way forward. Drop down the spell progression, paths (circles, domains etc), level benefits and so on to tidy up the unending stream of information!
Love the overall direction and visible improvements step by step. Keep up the good work.
