I have a list of suggestions that can be made to improve the character sheet PDF exports:
For the spell list
Spell components and duration have their own section but are repeated in the Notes section.
Section for the spell's range includes area of effect type and size, which is also duplicated in the notes section. I recommend removing the area of effect from the range and only include in the Notes section. (For space conservation)
The source column is about twice as wide as it realistically needs to be.
Ritual spells include the " + 10m" in the cast time. I recommend removing this as the column isn't wide enough to accommodate that information, nor is it always relevant. It's easy enough to remember that ritual casting adds 10 minutes to the cast time.
If possible, separate columns for marking a spell as concentration or ritual instead of the [R] or <C> tags.
Spells with a material component, listing their materials in the notes, especially if they are consumed, have a gp cost or otherwise special in some way.
Spells with a reaction listing their trigger in the notes.
Spells and cantrips which aren't prepared shouldn't include a prepared bubble.
For the equipment list, it's important to note that it's my belief most people using the PDF are attempting to print the PDF to use in a real life game. So maybe some of this should have a toggle, rather then be the default.
Leave the coin fields blank. Amount of money being carried is changed almost every session.
Leave the weight carried field blank, again this changes often, any time you loot or gather items.
For items, the QTY field should be left blank. This is a bit more tricky, because ideally it should be left blank depending on the item. For example armor doesn't need to be blank while rations, rope, torches and other "consumables" should be.
Seperate Weight into "Each" and "Total" columns, with the Total being blank if and when the Qty field is blank.
For the primary sheet:
Omit the "standard actions," while it might be nice to have that reference there, it's placed in a field that has quite limited space, and it's quite wordy for what is some basic game knowledge. Maybe it can be moved elsewhere.
Many class features (such as Wild Shape on the druid), include the full listing of levels which apply. So even if you're level 6 it shows the level 2 and 8 limitations, when only the level 4 are necessary. Given how much changes from level ups, it's safe to assume players will print new PDFs when they level up, as so much information on the page can change.
Leaving experience blank. Experience can change almost every session. Maybe something like "______ / 2700" would work as well, so you can include xp need for the next level up.
Consider leaving name blank. The name used is your web alias, which most people aren't going to use in a game they've printed a PDF for. Maybe this can be set in the account's profile settings.
Markers to keep track of limited class or racial resources like channel divinities, wild shapes, sorcerer points. Ideally on the first page, similar to how spell slots can be tracked on the spell page.
