It would be nice to have a feature to automate the process of gaining spell slots for sorcery points and vice versa. Currently I do it manually; click Font of Magic under Features & Traits to view table, click "-" or "+" button to adjust sorcery points, click boxes under Spells to adjust slots.
I see no way whatsoever to increase my spell slots. I know I can "un-use" spell slots by ticking the box again, but I see no way to add more slots than I start with, which I absolutely should be able to do (not the other way around, no way to go above your max sorcery points). I'm an elf who trance for 4 hours, so while the others are sleeping for an addition 4 hours, I plan to use 4 short rests on my sorlock to move between sorcery points and spell slots to give myself addition slots to start the day.

Yes, that was what I meant by "adjust;" recovering used slots. Absolutely you should be able to add more slots than you start the day with. I don't know why you need the short rests to do it though. Creating spell slots is a bonus action.

I believe belfastbiker means that, having a sorcerer/warlock multiclassed character, they would like to convert Warlock slot to spell points and those spell points back to additional spell slots. Since warlocks recover slots on a short rest, they can do this 4 times while waiting for the rest of the party to finish the long rest.

Exactly Taura0htar. Nice benefit of the Elven 4 hour trance as a long rest, free spell slots! Without any coffeelock shenanigans, RAW and RAI as far as I can see.

Yeah. This would be nice. Throw it on the "to do" pile.
" click boxes under Spells to adjust slots."
Wait, what?

Thanks, I didn't know about that.
