Alright, you lovely devs. I have another laundry list of feedback points. I'll be back tomorrow after I've finished making a character of every class!
Barbarian: Relentless Rage shows up in the Limited Use section, but there’s no way to track having used it.
Show Help Text always checked by default. It’d be nice if it stayed off once you told it no.
Languages and skills keep choices in the dropdown menu even if they’ve already been picked by the character. It’d be better if they disappeared from the menu so you can’t pick them twice.
Bards’ inspiration dice should recharge on a short rest.
It’d be nice for cantrips with saves (e.g. Vicious Mockery, Acid Splash) to be in the attacks section.
Bard’s Magical Secrets feature is missing completely!
College of Lore Additional Magical Secrets should use the bard’s spell slots, but right now they just say “At Will”
When learning a spell beyond the “Load More” button, the loaded-more part disappears once you pick a spell and you have to open it again.
Bonus Cantrip would be nicer up with the other cantrips as opposed to down in its own zone.
Monk typo: Uarmored movement improvement is missing an n.
A “make copy of character” function would be pretty cool.
For some reason I can't choose hermit as a background? Are some of the options not available yet?
For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.
The Manage Equipment and Spell POP UP dialogues are AWFUL!! Long vertical lists with NO filter; just SEARCH and a "LOAD MORE" button. Ugh! Give us a page with categories and filter buttons to choose a type and then a list. As it is it's awful. Come on! Sorry I can't be more empathetic but this is AWFUL!! Hope its temporary. I admit I did NOT search this forum to see if there was any talk on this. I just wanted to post my feelings. I have been playing D&D for 35 years. If WOTC is going to make an online utility for this great game It MUST be the BEST, most functional design possible for its loyal and INVESTED fans. And what are the three horizontal + signs for? Intuitive? Not a chance.
The Manage Equipment and Spell POP UP dialogues are AWFUL!! This HAS to change. AWFUL.
I know this is a BEAT but ... well you know how I feel. Are the designers of this software playing the game at all? Do they make characters?
So my difficulty is that I only seem to be able to choose The Fiend as a patron for my Warlock build. I'm playing as a Tiefling, but tried changing the race to human to see if that changed anything, but it didn't.
My intention has always been to choose the Old Ones as a patron, and find it very surprising that I can't do this. Am I being dumb in my selections? Or is this just a launch bug?
It's truly amazing how often people have to remind others that this is a beta and only has the SRD (and EE) content.
Seriously, if you did a search for it, the servers would crash.

I just tried to make a character and the builder was really helpful. Yes, i noticed some options weren't available, but for what i was building, there was enough. It was really easy to use, too. I think its great
Bug: There does not appear to be a way to store equipment in a bag of holding. (There also appears to be only one kind of bag. I assume that will change with the final version)
I felt the equipment window was easy to use. Slightly annoying that the basic item is not at the top of the list but it was manageable. Though maybe a filter/check box could be added that says to show only non-magical items or something.
It would be nice if the starting equipment options were visible while selecting equipment. Or Maybe if the starting equipment page had a drop down window with options. For example the Rogue gets 3 pack choices(Burglar, Dungeoneer, or Explorer). So have a drop-down list there that let's the user/player pick one of the three packs. That would make the whole thing go a lot smoother.
In the Items tab for the Character Creator, some items are added in bundles, but that's not mentioned when you add them. For example, I accidentally added 400 arrows because I didn't realize they came in bundles of 20. Maybe make sure it says "20" in brackets or something?
Are spells supposed to be viewable on character sheets the same as cantrips? It's kind of a pain to have to cross reference in the spell compendium whenever you want to cast a spell.
Hello there, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this already, but when I was making a dragonborn warlock using the character builder, I gave him the Folk Hero background, which is supposed to give him proficiency in the skills Animal Handling and Survival. Well, while the Survival skill is shown to have the proficiency marker on the character sheet, Animal Handling does not. I think this might be a bug, though it could also be some rule I missed (but I doubt that in this case). The other skill proficiencies for the character were Arcana and Imtimidation, in case that helps.
Some other points, also to do with the Character Creator:
The search bar for items isn't very user-friendly. For example, searching "Iron Pot" yields no results because the item is called "Pot, Iron", which is slightly annoying because you have to sort of translate any item into whatever you think it will be called.
Second, where most armours have a subtext denoting whether they are light, medium, or heavy, the mundane ones simply repeat the armour name. This is somewhat confusing when looking for leather armour, for example, as it is called simply "Leather".
Still in the Items section, while alphabetical organization is fine, would it be possible to have mundane items show up above magic ones? Scrolling past endless magic items to find the one mundane one is a pain.
Also, it would be kind of nice to have a dropdown menu for Personality Traits and similar. Having to copy-paste default options seems unnecessarily time-consuming. I'm thinking a dropdown with an option to enter your own.
Other people have pointed this out but I feel it bears repeating: heavy armour is unaffected by Dexterity but negative Dexterity is affecting AC.
The second thing is that the equipment manager is unpleasant to use. It really needs some sort of filtering that isn't solely based on knowing what you're searching for. I get that you're making it for mobiles but that little window and very simplistic search feature just isn't good enough at the table. I don't want to have to open a new tab to do a search for something that I don't know the name of just to find the name of it so that I can then search for it in the manager. If I want to find all mundane tools, for example, I can't type "tools" to get all tools and then browse which I want, I have to know that some of them are called supplies and kits or else I'll miss that. That's one example of a lot of areas where the equipment manager for character sheets needs improvement.

Is there a reason Dark Elf (Drow) is not an option when selecting a race? As its included in the Player's Handbook I was expecting to find it as an option.
I have spent some time making a few characters and the Step by step is really nice, once thing I would recommend is for the area of fawls, ideals and bonds and Personality move the option the options for the pre generated ones to be a drop down that you can click on like hitting a '+' next to text box so you can just select the one(s) you want or type in ones.
i also found that editing the character such as when lvling up seems kind of clunky where you have to go all the way back to the start of the editor to toggle changes. it would be nice that if you go into the manager LvL area if select a new level and save it before you close out the window other options show up to update health, or subclass option. if you have spells you get a link to select spells.
1.) Even though it gives you the option to choose variant encumbrance, which is great, I can't find the actual encumbrance limits anywhere on the sheet. It would be really awesome if carry, push, pull, lift weights and encumbrance weights as well as jump distances (high, long, standing high, standing long, standing jump reach) were listed somewhere.
2.) The spells list is going to get LOOOOONGG. A 20th-level wizard, for instance, will be able to prepare up to 25 spells and have 5 cantrips. That's going to make for a ridiculously long spell panel in the character sheet.
3.) You can select Svirfneblin Magic as a feat whether you're a svirfneblin or not.
4.) Whenever you go to select spells from the spell manager, if you use load more and select a spell from it, it reloads itself to start at the beginning. This gets seriously annoying once you get to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. level spells as you have to hit "load more" several times more, the higher the spell level you need to choose, every time you want to choose a higher level spell.

When creating a Paladin, you can only choose the Oath of Devotion, it's not possible to choose Oath of the Ancients or Oath of Vengeance (neither the 2 new oaths in unearthed arcana).

Current Characters I am playing: Dr Konstantin van Wulf | Taegen Willowrun | Mad Magnar
Check out my homebrew: Items | Monsters | Spells | Subclasses | Feats

That's all I've seen so far.
When selecting the gear quantity if you put more than 1 to add, the item management crashes
First notice. Possibly add an "any level" character start in 'quick build' because i have NPCs of varying levels to generate.
second notice. Stoked. These are indepth tools so far. good job Curse.
Oh, one more thing: There don't seem to be any portrait options for an Aarakocra.
OK, two things.
