For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.
First part is a small typo on the Warlock page. When it explains your patron it mentions the "Archfey" which isn't in the srd. When you get to the patron selection tab you can only select " Fiend" which I expected but this dissonance would be confusing for a new person.
Next is some stream line feedback. The character creation process is neat and flows really well but there are two things that can jar a person out of that flow. First is the fact that you have to manually LvL your class after you have leveled your character. As a semi experienced player it took me a second to figure out, once I did it was fine but the need to search for it was a little annoying when it happened. The second thing that breaks the overall flow of character creation and management is the slim pop up menus for choosing things like spell, abilities, and equipment. If I where to guess I would assume you chose that type of menu to facilitate the mobile and tablet application, however even on the phone I would fined this type of menu annoying to use especially after using the absolutely amazing compendium with it's filter options and descriptions. In short could you add filter options and descriptions to the pop up menus in the character creation/management system. It would be a huge quality of life improvement.
I may be missing something, but there does not seem to be a way to add an Arcane Focus to your equipment -- it does not show up in the "Add Equipment" list, whether searching by "arcane focus" or "focus, arcane."

Try searching for the type of focus - Crystal, Staff, Wand, Rod.
The character builder starts with choosing a character level before class levels. That seems unintuitive for a new player, especially when they don't understand the difference between class level and character level. I think it would be more intuitive to have the person select the class levels and base the character level on that. Unless I missed something during the quick test I did, it seemed I could make a level 5 character with only one level in a class.
Also, the player chooses a name before their race. It would be nice to be able to have both the name and race happen at the same time so that the random generator be tied to the character's race or something perhaps even a drop down to select a more refined list of names based on desired race. As you know, Fantasy Name Generator has a plethora of generators for racial/ethnic options (including the ability to choose gender).
Additionally, I would suggest forcing players to choose things like proficiencies before moving on to the next screen would be helpful. It's easy to miss that little warning.
Finally, I would like to request the ability to change the total point buy. I know 27 is the standard, however some like to use higher numbers beyond this.
One thing that would be nice is after you choose a condition the ability the click the text for full text of the rules.
As well, I'm creating a level 6 monk, Human variant. When I go to choose the feat it gives me two options "Grappler and Svirfneblin Magic" and that is all that is available to me.

Yes I noticed this as well but if you go to the characters tab and click feats it looks like there are currently only two feats total programmed in to choose. at least thats what im seeing.
Small layout issue. When choosing your level for a random character, the drop down shows --, then 1, then 2 and on to 19. You have to scroll down to get 20.It should be set for a 21 item list to include the -- entry.
When choosing a language, probably should limit it to the languages of humanoids, no Giant Eagle or Telepathy.
The ability to add a pack like the explorers pack is nice to not have to go find every single thing and add them individually but the problem is if you were to use a torch there is no way to subtract that from the pack which to me makes adding the pack as equipment unusable because if you want to keep inventory correctly you would still need to go add every item and they will all come with wait and the pack ways about 50 so you hinder your carry. Unless you were to make a bunch of notes to say only x torches left but at the point just add the items and forget the pack.
For Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer: additional AC is not added (13 +Dexterity) is not added to unarmed defence from Draconic Resilience (the additional hit points seem to work though). And you are unable to select a dragon a Draconic Ancestry type.
On the Choose a Race page of the Character Builder, the image used to represent the hill dwarf subrace is using the Deurgar (gray dwarf) image from the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide.
For your consideration, there are images of (potentially hill) dwarves on pages 60 and 131 of that book; pages 13, 48, 56, of the Player's Handbook; and pages 35 and 198 of the Dungeon Master's Guide.
I recommend using the image from page 48 as a replacement for the current image.
theres only one primal path option for barbarian class when there are two in the players hand book. And there are only 5 or so background choices to choose from. Also, there's a problem calculating total HP at high lvls. For barbarian it seems to just times the hit dice by the lvl. When it should be less than that.
Also, give use the option to expand everything on the screen. If I click + on a window I want to see all the content and read it . Lots of unnecessary clicking. Having to click read more on a section I want to read more on is bad.
When first making a character, if you have the milestone rule selected for character advancement, and you choose a level from the drop down menu, say level 7, and then open up the drop down again, only levels 7-20 are available to choose. I imagine this is because on the finished character sheet screen, when you change your level, you typically only level up. However, if you accidentally chose a level that's too high, you can't go back. If you chose 7, but actually meant to make a level 6 character, you have to completely redo the character. The same is true for leveling. I can see this being very frustrating on a higher level character.
Also, on the equipment management screen, it would be nice if there was a button to automatically add the starting equipment from your class and background. Having to go through the pop-up menu, search for and add an item, then exit out of the management pop-up to look at the next item in the list and repeat is a bit clunky. It stands out as being the only part of the character builder that is like this.
Can you give us a "Movie Theatre" option for the character sheet. The Background art on the character sheet on a browser window doesnt seem that useful to me.

Bug in the Character sheet calculation....
Solder background feeds Animal Handling prof. into table calc but shouldn't, Folk Hero doesn't but should.
All summary boxes appear correct.

Okay, that did the trick. Thanks!
Couldn't hurt to label these specific items types as an arcane focus [ i.e. "Crystal (arcane focus)"] for clarity, though.

Can't add "animal handling" to 3rd lvl Bard's Bonus Proficiencies.

You don't make it easy to switch data on a character. Im having to dig to find review or to change options.
People are going to get lost. It's poor UI design.

Can you give us a way to roll dice that verifiable?
Also on backgrounds I dont want to have to type in the preselected stuff.
