I have not seen a pop-up warning. I did see that on the What's Next page it said my character was not complete. But that changed as soon as I set some stats. Even though i left several choices incomplete. This was with the Standard option with Help Text enabled.
Also, when searching for Equipment in the manage equipment screen. There should be some filtering by type. ie. Martial weapons or Heavy armor etc.
Can't figure out how to toggle a versatile weapon between 1h and 2h for the damage difference.
Can't figure out how to add Unarmed Strike as an attack. Critical for a monk...
It would be nice if you can group your items by container. Ex: List the backpack, and then what's in it. So if I drop the backpack in battle, my encumbrance is correctly adjusted and I'd also know what I don't have at-hand should I need it.
I should also mention this: Running into a glitch when adding items to inventory. When typing in the search field, it correctly filters the list below. However, after a moment or two, the list reverts back to the initial full list. I have to add more characters to get it to re-filter the list so I can add the item I wanted.

They're probably working on it.

I used my first go-round on the character creator to make a cleric.
All-in-all, it worked well and the interface was pretty intuitive EXCEPT when it came to the Equipment section. The equipment section seems totally messed-up and I didn't know what I was doing. All I wanted to do was to give my character a dagger, but I saw no option to do it. Also, there seems to be some kind of color coding in the equipment list, but it never explains what the color coding means.
Also, I would really like the ability to upload my own graphic when choosing the character portrait.
Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but if I select a class in the Character Builder and want to change it later, I can't figure out how to do this. It was easy to change your race, but changing your class without completely deleting the character from the My Characters page and starting over isn't very intuitive.

I'm pretty sure they haven't added that function yet.

Yes, taking class levels away is not possible right now. You can change background, equipment spells and so on. But for the class you have to start over entirely. This feature will be implemented soon.
If I am creating a new character and pulling items from the equipment list, even a lvl 1 character build with basic stuff, I find it time consuming to be down selecting "Flail" and then after the selection I An scrolling down from the A list all over again. If I was not teleported back to the very start of the list after selecting an item I think it would save a lot of time and frustration. If I am in the "F" section, return me there after my selection.
Improvement: When you manage spells to add new known spells you can't expand them to see what they actually do. This forces the user to use two browser tabs/windows and manually search for the spells in the second tab/window. It would be much more user friendly if you could expand spells directly to read the detailed description.
this -- this is super annoying. Why can't I even get the brief description of a spell through this interface, or even reference my spell slots available? I think that is important to quickly reference in knowing which spells I"m going to prepare/learn (depending on class).
The character sheet is very busy. When looking at class features and sub class features it shows everything. It should show just what you have at that time. A good example is Eldritch Invocations. It tells the names of what you have selected then you have a scroll through all of them to see what each one does. It should just list the ones you have selected and their descriptions.
I find the character builder somewhat difficult to navigate and modify. I think there should be a way to do most of it from the main character sheet so you don't have to go through the many steps of the builder. This is particularly true if you want to take an existing character and move him or her into the system.
I built a first level character and I'm in love... With the builder and the [character (perhaps)].
Not really reading the details on arrows I tried to add 20 arrows to the gear. All I got was the spinning circle. I don't know if others found the same issue like adding 2 short swords for dual wielding.
For consumable items some form of tracking method is needed. On a printed sheet I used a series of circles. check or cross the box for each arrow, bullet, shiriken used. If you're using a real time database you could just use a +/- button to add and subtract items as they're used or discarded. This could get tedious with arrows. "Let's see ... I need 20 regular. 5 silver for werewolves, 4 wooden for vampires, 7 cold iron for demon and fey. Oh and then I have 3 +1 arrows, etc."

I could have missed the prompt I suppose but I'm fairly certain it didn't pop up
It doesn't seem to pop up anymore, at least not that I've seen.

Will it be possible for a DM to allow access to spells from other class lists at some point(i.e. Let a wizard take spells from the cleric list)?

This is happening in Firefox on Win10.

How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?
Wave!

When I created a character, I put in that the HP will be filled in manualy after rolling each level.
but when I level I cannot see where I can put the rolled dice number into and it automaticaly change the HP from 12 to 21.
Where can I find the manualy fill in option and how can I change that?
Go into the builder, class, manage HP.
