Not sure if this has been brought up before, but I attempted to search the forums and didn't come up with anything addressing the issue. It may be one of the most minor issues and perhaps there is already a workaround in place that I am unaware of. Would it be possible to not have the Homebrew options be available by default when creating a new character or additionally, not have all my saved homebrew automatically shared with every other player in my campaigns. I only say this because I like to peruse the homebrew sections and save things that I find interesting, whether or not I have intention on using them. Unfortunately adding anything to my homebrew list automatically makes it appear as options for other players in my campaigns because the option to include that material as a source is selected by default upon character creation. I have had to repeatedly tell other players that they should disable the homebrew option because I don't want every homebrew race/subclass/feat I create or save to be displayed in their character options. In my opinion there should be some way to designate certain homebrew content that is saved as visible by all other players while keeping other things not visible. Like having a designated homebrew 'vault' that is exclusive on an account basis so I can still have a place to save things I find interesting without other players in my campaign getting access to it automatically. Not sure if there are any plans to change this behavior in the character creator or becoming more granular about how homebrew content is managed but it would be nice as a future endeavor. The homebrew library was honestly a big reason I subscribed to DDB in the first place but I find the management piece of homebrew content to be somewhat lacking.
Homebrew collections are shared automatically. Source filtering is a planned feature that should start development soon.
You can always just disable homebrew content in character settings, but I do wish that homebrew spells, items, and feats were labeled better in character sheet for easy recognition is a "some homebrew allowed" campaign.
