I feel like the magic items search engine need to add tags for classes that are required in order to use them. I feel like that would help dungeon masters easily cater their magic items to individual players.

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
DDB needs to improve filtering for a lot of things in a lot of ways. Most of those ways are "planned." Which in DDB speak means "We know you want this feature we don't have. Stop asking."
I don't think it means stop asking -- mods have always seemed to encourage repeat requests in the forum, as they track it and it shows multiple people are interested in something, at multiple points in time. They may not be able to move up building that feature, because they need to build the other features first, but they are not by any means shutting down feedback.
