I think a really neat feature to accompany the pronunciation of creature names would be a soundboard for monsters. As much as I love making wacky sounds for everything, it would be really cool to be able to hear the kind of sounds and roars each creature could produce.
I would imagine a Cockatrice, for example, to sound something like an angry rooster mixed with a low-pitch, distorted raptor from Jurassic Park. I have tried to create such a sound without success. lol
Commissioning some artists to create sounds for the site for players to hear in-game could be a a nice touch for DMs to create more immersive gameplay. The sound files could be linked in the Creature Details Pages or maybe could be added somewhere in the Encounter Builder.
Not the most necessary feature but just a fun suggestion I thought of while at work.
Would be fantastic in the homebrew (or frankly just a “custom race” option in the race selection screen with similar) if we had the option to pull in the standard racial traits that already exist vs creating from scratch
basically, create a custom race by mix and matching what you already have in the SRD and other sources for racial traits. In the character creator this would be a great option leveraging the mechanism in the DMG for custom races. It’s not quite “homebrew” but would satisfy a lot of what I see people wanting to do when they just want to tweak their characters base race
I think we really need a new diverse class for travel because the classes we have are all about fighting so why not add in the sailor class. You could have something like pirate a subclass. But it’s up to dnd so I thought I would just put in a suggestion.

This would be feedback for Wizards of the Coast, who make the rules for D&D, rather than D&D Beyond who make a toolset for the game.

we already have a pirate subclass. Swashbuckler Rogue. but otherwise, yes, as Davyd said, feedback like that would go to WotC.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
It would be great to be able to homebrew full player classes with this great tool. Now we can homebrew a lot of things but full classes would be awesome!
Add support for 2 of the best sorc classes right now, Abberant Mind and Clockwork:
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a divination or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.
Please add hyperlinks and ability to view spells for sidekicks listed in the Extras section of a character sheet. Being able to get the spell details from the link in the stat block really helps a player quickly make spell decisions without having to open a new page
It would be a nice feature to be able to sell an item directly from your inventory and have the monetary value be added directly to your Total Currency. Don't even need a database of how much items cost since most DMs determine the price or can look up the price of items. The user interface can have a blank space for the amount you're selling it for, the user can enter the amount manually, click sell and the money is automatically added to your currency and the item is removed from your inventory.
Could we get a description box for items and other abilities that you can customize. It wouldn't appear on the actual character sheet just when you click on it. I think it would be a really fun way to customize your character's actions and items.
I would love to see a way to group or file characters as well as other creations. Monsters, items etc. this would allow separation for specific campaigns or for other reasons.
I also would love to see some of the backgrounds and frames reflect in the mobile app.
I have one suggestion for dnd beyond, and this is to let us have a setting to change size. One of my characters is 12ft tall and 10ft wide, but is still listed as medium because of race. A setting for that would be so much more convenient than keeping track of stuff like that separately

If you want to customise a race to be a different size than listed, you can make a homebrew copy, remove COPY_OF_ from the name, and change the size.
Maybe another inventory section labeled “Components Pouch” for items specifically set aside as spell components. It gets really annoying if you have a bunch of random items floating around and trying to make sure you have the right thing.

A component pouch is a container that you can assign items that are components to...
Now that wizards of the Coast owns the app can you add the older source books such as Demi human deities and the like. Preferably updated though it would be fine as is.

I recently learned that what I'm asking for is ToolTips to be present in the Extras section
An NPC extra I have can cast Bane however tooltips don't work there
Fix clockwork and aberrant mind sorcerer spell selection
Add a button in the app to download all owned content please. Takes forever piecemeal if you own a lot of books.
