Now that wizards of the Coast owns the app can you add the older source books such as Demi human deities and the like. Preferably updated though it would be fine as is.
Short answer is no. D&D Beyond is only for official 5e content published by the D&D team. The only exceptions are a few Critical Role homebrew by Matt Mercer.
They are not going to support third party content. They are not going to support other editions of D&D. As much as it displeases me, they stopped supporting UA. Even though Wizards published the Plane Shift series compatible with 5e, those are not published by the D&D team, so they are not supported either.
Probably was suggested but didn't see it. A DM screen of sorts. Current players health, status effects, passive perceptions, etc. . This would be helpful to not need all players tabs open or be in encounter to view easily.
a suggestion several of my players are using the mini books for charaters the ones the size of the spell cards. I think it would be fairly easy and a nice help to provide a character sheet print out that is formatted for that size. printing a normal sheet small just makes it unreadable.
Hey, would it be difficult to add to and expand the move interface attached to items in our inventory, to add said inventory item and -through expansion- extras entities to another character sheet in the same campaign? If it is not, I think that would be a great idea for when one character temporarily or permanently gives an item to another. Could make it easier if say, a player leaves the campaign and decides his character is retiring, and wants to pass loot or companions along to members the party. In particular loot or entities given flair through customization. In the existing system each one of those party members would need to add them manually to their gear, which won't pass along any notes or alterations such as name changes or item description customization that may be relevant to those, and the receiving players would have to know how to and then put in place those customizations themself. It would be so much easier if all that could be done with three clicks of a button. Move > Character > Name
As I understand it, all that would need to do is add the base object to the receiving player's sheet, then duplicate the customization from sender's inventory to the item in recipient's sheet. Am I wrong, or would this be doable? :)
I haven't been able to find this suggestion in my admittedly brief searching, so here's my great big idea.
Would it be feasible to add the ability for the DM of a campaign to add brief notes into the Game Log in line with the dice rolls? No matter how hard I try to keep all my DM plates in the air and also make notes of who did exactly what where and when, I rarely succeed and wind up trying to decipher frantic scribbling the next day so I have an idea of just what happened.
Nothing fancy, just a text field that one could enter a few words - 255 characters seems to be a popular number with the IT set - and a button to append that text to the bottom of the game log. Ideally it would be visible to the DM only to avoid accidentally exposing secret information, but anything would be great - at least I think so :)
I tired that but unless I'm missing something, it's more or less the same as simply typing notes into a text editor. If there were a way to just add notes in the game log they would automatically be in chronological order, and grouped with the associated die rolls.
It would be awesome to have a ledger section in the currency inventory so you can enter a deduction or addition with a memo. An integrated record will be a nice way to track expenses and earnings, especially if there's a situation where regular payments are occurring. Referencing back to how much equipment/inventory was purchased or sold for or influxes of currency from a completion of job would be a super nice to have.

I have an urge to report your suggestion soley for the purpose for the idea to be read!
This is a great idea and I've been wanting something like this to be added to the encounter tracker

I think it would be a splendid idea to add a live category so people can watch, host, and join dnd sessions on dnd beyond

Thanks!
in the campaign screen you have a DM notes (private) section that you could use for this
